We raise funds for helping to maintain the fabric of St Peters Church by holding events, selling books / cards and from subscriptions and donations from members.

Our aim every year is to provide our school with extra funds to help them buy supplies that they might otherwise not be able to. We have raised money in the past to help with playground improvements, football kits and books.

Serving the visually impaired and blind residents of the London Borough of Merton by distributing free weekly audio recordings on memory sticks and as attachments to Emails. The recordings include local news (mainly from the free local newspaper) and a 30-minute audio Magazine on a wide range of topics of general interest.

- Feed from time to time the Homeless in London & Northampton.-Supporting people in London (Women & Men) who are facing Abuse and Domestic Violence-Give support to Pregnant Women & Babies in Nigeria -To raise funds & medical Equipment for St. George's Hospital in Umunumo Community - Nigeria.- Run a Charity Shop/Food Bank called COMPASSION and produce a Magazine called HEALTHY SOCIETY.

We are a self-help educational and social organisation for retired and semi-retired. We offer a range of groups and activities such as: music discovery; french; spanish; book club; french reading; law, art; art appreciation; Upwords; Mah Jong; Rummikub; history; architecture; poetry & plays; film club; science & technology; philosophy.

Advancement of the Christian religion mainly, but not exclusively, by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature, through the holding of Christian religious worship, prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on Christian religion to enlighten others about the Christian religion.

Maintains and develops a science fiction research collection and library.Raises funds to support the Foundation Collection.Publishes the Journal Foundation: The International Review of Science Fiction.Organises and supports conferences for the furtherance of Science Fiction education.Publishes papers, pamphlets and books on the subject of Science Fiction.

We run activities & events to support lifelong learning, culture or promote health and well being and raise funds to support and enhance the work of the Church Stretton library and information centre. We provide volunteers to support - but not replace - library staff and act as a link between the Church Stretton library service and the wider community.

We record local weekly newspapers digitally each week for blind and partially sighted people. Every month we produce a Talking Magazine and periodically we record the local council info "Otley Matters". Our listeners either receive a USB stick by post or listen online. Our area covers Otley, Guiseley, Pool, Bramhope, Rawdon, Horsforth, Adel, Cookridge, Ilkley, Menston, Burley and Addingham.

The Foundation?s activities include: establishing contact with: government ministries; embassies; NGO?s; corporations; museums; libraries; universities [educational institutions]; organizations & companies involved in the restoration & preservation of buildings, documents [manuscripts, books], frescoes, religious & archaeological materials; & other charities; making grants; providing advice.

Fully functioning lending library, a Museum of artefacts depicting local businesses over the ages, a Victorian Walled garden and Tea Room.

Holds Church Services on Sundays and Wednesday where everyone is welcome.Holds a Sunday School every Sunday which welcomes everyone up to the age of 20.Provides a Reading Room for the public to study, borrow or purchase Christian Science literature. Sponsors public lectures on Christian Science.

We conduct research into local history and publish the results in books which we sell.We have a Museum, which opens at the weekend from April until the end of November and is run entirely by volunteers.Children from local schools and other groups visit to learn about local history.Talks to which the public are invited are held monthly.Fund raising coffee mornings are held monthly.

Promoting interest in the history of Otley through exhibitions and presentations; providing information and facilities for researchers and students; publishing books, leaflets etc which promote public education; collecting, conserving and storing the Otley Museum's collection of historical artefacts, documents and photographs; fundraising and providing suitable premises for these activities.

Increasing parental involvement with school & education. Using monies raised to provide extra goods and services for the school to enhance and promote education. Purchasing books, playground equipment and prizes. Holding Summer and Christmas Fairs and promoting the involvement of the local community. Facilitating social activities at the school such as a leavers disco.

Advacement of the Christian Religion for the benefit of the public through, prayer meetings, worship service, lectures and distribution of literature, to advance education by providing adult literacy classes and business skills and to help eradicate poverty

Core fund raising has mainly been based on social activities - discos, treasure hunt and a quiz night . These have been coupled with Christmas and Easter raffles and the end of year balloon race, together with nearly new uniform sales and selling of the school book bags.

Conservation and promotion for educational and other purposes of an historic library relating to Staffordshire, with ongoing accessions and collection management

Our PTA works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities, such as the summer and winter fairs, pre-loved uniform, bake and book sales. These help to build the school community, break down barriers and help fundraise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school.

The object (aim) of Hathern Community Library is to promote for the benefit of the locality the provision of general library services and facilities for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facility whatever their circumstances and individual needs.
