Promotion and regulation of the pure breeding of Hackney Horses

Alongside selling Christian books, we run a cafe in which we offer a relaxed welcoming atmosphere where customers can talk together and with our staff and volunteers, some of whom have additional needs. We seek to support the elderly, disabled, vulnerable and homeless. We welcome secondary school pupils for work experience. Profits make grants to children and young peoples' organisations.

PRESERVATION OF THE LEGACY OF URGYEN SANGHARAKSHITA (1925 - 2018), FOUNDER OF THE TRIRATNA BUDDHIST COMMUNITY (FORMERLY FWBO), INCLUDING THE SANGHARAKSHITA LIBRARY, URGYEN HOUSE AND HIS LITERARY, PHOTOGRAPHIC AND AUDIO ARCHIVES, AIMING TO MAKE THESE ACCESSIBLE AS APPROPRIATE TO FUTURE GENERATIONS.

The activities of the Roundwood Trust are primarily related to Reformed Christian Churches overseas and in particular within Eastern Europe, with some exceptions.

Operation of the Alpine Club Library; providing care of - and access to - the Alpine Club's collections of historic books, papers, archives, artefacts, photographs, and paintings. Open to the public on several days each week except during the month of August and the Christmas - New Year holiday time; for fixed appointments.

The Society promotes and advances research and study on the psychological aspects of general practice with special reference to the doctor patient relationship and disseminates the knowledge beyond the Society for the improvement of the medical care of the public at large.
