FINANCIALY ASSIST IN THE FORM OF SMALL GRANTS TO STUDENTS LIVING IN THE PARISH OF HARTSHILL, BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 23. ALSO GIVES GRANTS FOR BOOKS TO THE LOCAL SCHOOLS.

The key activities of the charities being the annual conference, a bi-annual magazine and a series of public lectures which are open to members and non-members have continued to be delivered.

The Trust operates within the Essex Police area and ensures that Officers and civilian employees who are killed in the line of duty are remembered. To that end, a roll of honour, a book of remembrance and a memorial stone have been placed at Police Headquarters Chelmsford in their memory. Other memorials situated within and outside the Essex Police area are also maintained.

Provides radio broadcasts to patients and staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex for the purposes of maintaining and raising moral; and to entertain and inform.

We are a group of parents from Driffield Northfield Infant School and we raise funds for extra equipment for the said school. We have purchased many items including play equipment, books, instruments, a wendy house and helped to provide the school with a computer suite and iPads. We have many events throughout the year including toy & book sales, discos, summer fayre, christmas & easter bingo.

We loan jigsaw puzzles to people living in the community, particularly to provide recreation for the elderly, less enabled, retired or housebound in Exeter and other areas of Devon but everyone is welcome.

We provide advice, emotional and practical support and financial assistance to local kidney patients and their families and carers. Many of the management committee are kidney patients themselves and the trustees have a detailed understanding of the numerous problems caused by kidney disease.
