Gives grants to students of limited means who are under the age of 25 and who are resident in the civil Parish of Goudhurst to assist with the purchase of books, equipment and outfits for training and educational purposes.

To provide financial assistance to poor persons under the age of 25 and resident or in their final school year in Wroughton parish who are preparing for, beginning or engaged in any trade, occupation or profession by the provision of tools or books, the payment of fees for instruction or examination, the payment of travelling expenses or such other means as will fit them to earn their own living.

Hospital radio.

To further the study of History at Warwick School by providing History books for the school library and to support the production of outstanding work outside the remit of the normal curriculum.

Provides a free weekly audio recorded digest of local news, plus a regular magazine edition and a regular information bulletin, each distributed alternately every three weeks, to sight impaired and severely sight impaired listeners. Provided on usb memory stick, CD, via BWFB, Amazon Alexa and dialup telephone. A free usb memory stick player is also supplied where required

The Charity was set up by a Mr Broome in the 1700s to help the education of the under priveliged in the village of Lyneham. These days the interest accrued from the lump sum is given annually to the school for the purchase of books.

To provide persons who are either permanently or temporarily blind or partially-sighted or otherwise visually impaired, weekly recordings based on the news and other items from local newspapers or other information sources, serving Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough and surrounding areas. Recordings shall be distributed through the free post facilities available under Royal Mail regulations.

To provide those who are visually impaired with audio access to Quaker periodicals and books at low cost.

Any young person, living in Pattishall Parish and following full or part time higher education may apply. This includes courses at university, college of higher education, industrial and commercial training courses, apprenticeships, placements etc. Grants are given for books, equipment etc.

To provide, and promote a public museum containing a collection of artefacts, a library of books, video and audio tapes illustrating the work of the Royal Observer Corps and associated subjects such as aircraft recognition, The Royal Air Force, Home and Civil Defence. To provide facilities for the education of students and interested persons by using the collections for research and local history.

306. Compilation of memory sticks extracted from local newspapers on a weekly basis together with the production of a monthly magazine on memory sticks for distribution to blind and partially sighted people living mainly in the Sid Valley and East Devon area.

TOY LIBRARY LENDING TOYS TO FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 5. WE ALSO LOAN TO CHILDMINDERS.TOYS ARE BORROWED FOR A FOUR WEEK PERIOD. THIS IS A FREE SERVICE, BUT DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

To advance the education and training of the public, in particular but not exclusively by the purchase of works of art, books, prints and articles of historical, archaeological or literary interest for the Guildhall Library.

We provide a hospital radio service to the patients of hospitals in the Leeds Hospital Trust, broadcasting a variety of live programmes with both music and spoken word.

Provision of hospital radio services to the staff and patients of Ormskirk and District General Hospital and Southport Hospital

A fortnightly magazine and newspaper on audio tape or CD covering the towns and villages of North Lincs. It is available to anyone with difficulty reading a standard newspaper due to visual impairment or physical disability.
