The centre exist to secure the needs of its local community by the promise of activities including music sport and leisure on the multi use games area installed with funding from Sport England. We also assist with young people projects attempting to get into radio broadcasting. social issues associated with crime in the areas.

Bringing Words to Life (BWtL) is a literacy charity, founded by a journalist and author. After a lengthy pilot study in a primary school, the engagement of the children through this alternative platform encouraged the development of BWtL. The intention is to engage as many young people as possible with the processes, skills, and attitudes they need to enhance their literacy.

We sponsor very bright primary school children living in slums. We pay for school fees, books, uniforms and basic essentials to enable them to attend top secondary schools. We select top secondary schools based on their past results and the number of students from the school who have qualified for university.

We run training programmes in oral history techniques, run a website, publish a journal, run a regional network, offer advice, run an annual conference, act as a focal point for oral history and deal with ethical issues, archiving and technical developments for dissemination.

The charity runs a shop retailing new and second hand Christian books, CDs, DVDs, greetings cards, gifts, including Fairtrade items which also incorporates a coffee shop selling snacks, light lunches and hot and cold drinks. The charity also takes items out to churches for sale there when requested and to the Mid Devon Show.

The trust produces Christian literature and bible reading notes.

The charity provides services to advance the field of music theory and analysis. We are affiliated with the journal Music Analysis, and organise a regular programme of events, including the annual Theory and Analysis Graduate Students (TAGS) Conference, the Music Analysis Summer School as well as other Music Analysis Conferences ('MACs') and workshops. We also produce online resources.

Providing education, support and outreach activities to young people in the Tees Valley area. We focus on music, singing and dancing, keep fit, anti bullying techniques, martial arts and revision classes for school curriculum support We have a full gym, music rooms, podcast/tv studio a recording studio , a traverse wall for rock climbing. We are a Welsh-medium early year education setting based within the village's primary school. We offer early years education for children aged 3-5 years. The object of the Heron Theatre is to present to the public dramatic and kindred arts by means of the production of dramatic, musical and dance performances, films, lectures, and slide shows; and the promotion of other cultural activities in its own theatre and elsewhere. The Heron Theatre is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.
