2020 (40th Season), EASTBOURNE. No concerts due to Covid-19 restrictions

Singing together as a choir for fun and friendship. Also giving concerts to raise funds for our chosen annual charity. To also sing at other charity fund raising events. To promote singing and friendship within the community to anyone who wants to join us.

Our village community centre is available for numerous different activities. Health, sports, crafts, community groups, concerts, parties and community events.

We promote different types of Choral Singing in the Highworth area through concerts.

To support British Music, particularly of those composers who have not received the attention they deserve.

The LGSW welcome everyone regardless of their sexuality. We are a wind and percussion ensemble run by our members. We provide public concerts that entertain the audience while also developing the skills and talents of our members with repertoire chosen by the membership.

we are a Brass Band who provides concerts and takes parts in contest. for the enjoyment of both the band members and the public

Providing musical education for adults, youths and children.Promoting music through performances, workshops and toursSupporting fund raising events for other local groups.

Around 8 social events held each year for parishioners and their friends. Several education classes including music, art & history. Hall can be hired for a range of activities including parish council meetings, art exhibitions, private parties. The main aims of these activities are to maintain and develop this historic building as a focal point for all members of the community.

We host community funding events to raise money for local projects. Guests pay £4, listen to 4 people pitch a community project needing funding. Guests meet people, discuss projects, eat and hear local musicial talent. Then vote for their favourite project, who gets all of the door money. It's run volunteers and all food and musical entertainment is provided free by local people and businesses.

Amateur dramatics- The Society's annual production in2017 was "The Wizard of Oz" The AGM was held in the Pennington Memorial Church Room, Kendal on the 19th March 2018. The death of Susan Scott-Stephenson was reported and Audrey Ireland was unable to continue as a Trustee . The remaining Trustees were re-elected. The Accounts for the year ended 31st January 2018 were presented and accepted

Badcock Recreation ground is used by the following teams - football (3), cricket, tennis courts, children's play area and general recreation.The hall is used for numerous activities organised in the village - clubs, concerts, dancing, private hire, theatre group etc.

The Margaret Killbery Foundation (MKF) aims to provide opportunities for people to have access to facilities, equipment and teaching in the arts world, with a particular focus on music.The Foundation does so by providing funding and grants to charities and organisations which focus on delivering projects in the spheres of art and music.

FOOD, EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE,SET UP INCOME GENERATING JOBS IN RURAL AREAS. SEEKING FUNDS TO IMPROVE FARMING,ORPHANAGES,SCHOOLS AND VOCATIONAL CENTRES PLANS.

The main activity of the year is the July festival in Helpston. This is a weekend of walks, talks, exhibitions, book sales, folk music and dance, concert, and lots of activities around the village.

Performing publicly attended concerts at various venues throughout the year some of which are offered freely to other charitable organisations.Teaching and encouraging young players to take their place in the world of Brass Bands

SSSEC is an educational charity providing regular classes in Punjabi, North Indian & Sikh classical music (vocal and traditional instruments), and Sikhism to people of all ages and backgrounds. We also run events such as camps and workshops aiming to inspire, educate, and empower the public, in particular the youth, to become active and responsible global citizens.

Everyone Matters delivers high quality professional music-making: workshops for children and young people, particularly those with special needs; interactive concerts for older people in care settings, and a special scheme for those with dementia; mentoring young, and adult amateur, musicians to perform alongside professionals for older people in care settings; lecture-recitals for music lovers.

Performance of classical, choral and sacred music both in concerts and religious services

The primary objective of PAGWPS is to enrich our childrens school experience through fundraising and to enhance communication between parents and the school. We pride ourselves in hosting a good range of events throughout the year Movie Night Marvellous Mothers Day Shop, Easter Chocolate Hamper, Raffle Wrestle Force Evening, Music Festival ect These events are held on site.

Provision of chamber music in York in a short festival. It includes outreach work with young musicians, educational masterclasses and a competition for young musicians.

The society seeks to promote the enjoyment and awareness of choral music by presenting public concerts.

The trustees support the maintenance, in the London Borough of Sutton and the Episcopal area of Croydon, of the worship of God through music including the maintenance of bells and pipe organs ( as opposed to electronic organs or harmonium) but not other musical instruments and items of musical provision and assistance and the provision or purchase of hymn books.

To entertain and to promote and support music in the local area by giving people the chance to be a member of a male voice choir.

Provides opportunities for people of all ages to learn or advance their playing of a brass or other instrument. Provides the loan of instruments. Provides tuition by the running of a youth band for children from 7 to 15 years of all abilities. Gives public performances to assist the funding of the youth and main bands and to support local community initiatives.
