Furtherance of educational aims of Westminster Abbey Choir School through support of its musical activities and related activities of public benefit

MENS CHOIR, PROMOTING MUSIC TO THE PUBLIC VIA PERFORMANCES THROUGHOUT CORNWALL AND INVOLVING LOCAL SCHOOLS IN CHORAL WORKS AND EDUCATION. MAKING GUEST APPEARANCES IN OTHER LOCALITIES, AND PROMOTING GOODWILL VIA TOURS IN UK AND EUROPE.

The charity is considered the oldest musical institution in Reading, Berkshire with a history that dates to 1899. It has always aimed to support any member of the public, including young people, who can play a brass band instrument and wishes to join. Particularly those members of the public who demonstrate a positive attitude, approach, and team commitment to the art of brass band music making.

ESCAFELD CHORALE EXISTS TO ENGAGE IN CHORAL SINGING IN ORDER TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF CHORAL MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC PERFORMANCES; AND FOR SUCH PURPOSES AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE AS THE COMMITTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.

The performance of choral music (from 1600's to newly commissioned by the Chorale) to an excellent standard, by auditioned singers, in rehearsals and concerts under a musical director. Concerts are open to the public in various venues in the UK including churches and concert halls, and sometimes also include performances by other choirs, bands and musicians.

The Charity arranges up to ten concerts each year - open to Members and the general public.In addition it arranges for up to six recitals/workshops in local primary schools each year by visiting artists.

WE ARE AN ENTHUSIASTIC AMATEUR ORCHESTRA BASED IN THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK. WE PUT ON THREE PUBLIC CONCERTS A YEAR AND WE ENCOURAGE CONCERT GOERS BY ENSURING OUR CONCERTS ARE AS ACCESSIBLE AS POSSIBLE.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Adult Choir of mixed age, sex and ability. We rehearse weekly and learn choral works which we then perform at 4 public concerts per year. We also undertake concerts for the benefit of other charities, both local and national.

Producing musicals and concerts

The Pontefract Choral Society aims to make choral music readily accessible to the wider community through live concerts, and to provide the opportunity for local people to develop their musical skills.

Suffolk Soul Singers is a mixed community choir based in Ipswich for people who enjoy singing & performing soul & gospel music. It is a truly inclusive organisation with no auditions or expectations to be able to read music in order to join. Any profits from performances are used to offer free or low cost music making activities to as wide a range of local groups & individuals as possible.

MUSIC. SINGING CHORAL WORKS

We provide opportunities to amateur singers who already have some musical ability to develop this bylearning and rehearsing a wide range of choral works to a high standard. We promote appreciation ofchoral music by performing on a regular basis for the public benefit.

The objects of the Charity are to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects. We are based in the East of England, centred on Saffron Walden. We perform concerts, run a carol competition for young composers and have occasional workshops.

IODS Theatre Company CIO is a community musical theatre group. It is the incorporated version of Ipswich Operatic and Dramatic Society, a charity that has a long history of high quality theatre productions.

The Grove Club provides an evening of social interaction for adults with learning difficulties. They enjoy music, games and socialising.

Billericay Choral Society aims to advance the education of the public in choral works by the presentation of public performances and to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music.

A concert band based in Ashby De La Zouch of over 50 playing members with a wide age range.Rehearses weekly during school term times. Entry standard for playing members ABRSM grade 5 or equivalent.Holds 3-4 public concerts annually, many in collaboration with other charities. Undertakes occasional tours.

Education of the public in the art of music

The society gives two concerts per year, with professional soloists and full orchestra. Rehearsals are held weekly from September to April or May, and no auditions are required.

The study and practice of choral music to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance and; to assist and support such charitable institutions or purposes as the committee shall determine.

The creation of a flow of Gift-Aid funds and other donations for the conservation and maintenance of the fabric and buildings of the two Parish Churches. Subscriptions and Donations ( Gift Aided ) produce most of our income. Our main fund raising activity has been and is the running of successful winter Saturday morning Coffee Concerts in St Bartholomew's Church mainly Organ recitals..

A Social Club for people with learning disabilities we meet fortnightly. On Club night we have an activity i.e., movement to music and a craft activity. We have a raffle and coffee bar. We have Summer and Christmas parties and outings. Our members have their own sub committee where they put forward their ideas/requests. The Club has a happy environment shared by both members and volunteers alike.
