The main purpose is to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts & sciences, to improve & develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national & international, in music, drama & other cultural subjects & in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health & social welfare.

The Bela Bartok Centre for Musicianship (BBCM) provides specialist musicianship training for all age groups - especially for young children and for music students at music colleges - and aims to disseminate the results of this training (for instance, via workshops) in the wider community.

We promote awareness of drugs, alcohol and tobacco to children and young families. We do this in an innovative way by providing roadshows in the community and special events in schools we call "Niteclub Xperience". These events use music and lighting to create dynamic and exciting events where we present the information in audio and video format on large video walls.

Providing tradition britsh entertainment to the public

The charity was established to maintain and tune the organ in the Parish Church of St Laurence, Frodsham; and also to help with remuneration of the Organist.

The Northavon Singers is a mixed voice (4-part) choir, performing two to three public concerts per year, in addition to a number of local events such as Christmas Carol concerts for local residential and nursing homes and ad hoc events on request. Some profits are donated to local and national charities, as and when viable. The choir has approximately 15 members.

Our objective is to advance the musical education of young people in the Leeds area, to promote, encourage and support all activities of CLYO, Fundraising provides bursaries and subsidies for tours & residential courses, music & soloist hire, pays for and maintains some of the rarer instruments the young musicians are less likely to own & funds the annual prizes awarded by the Conductor.

The London Gypsy Orchestra is an amateur orchestra. It is open to all with an interest in studying and performing Gypsy and folk music from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. The LGO also organises educational and participatory activities and events for the public, to inspire participation in and appreciation of music, as well as greater understanding of Gypsy culture.

Through the universal language of music&by promoting young artists from the Middle East&the Western World, the Peace&Prosperity Trust raises awareness&funds for charitable projects in the M.E.&for its young artists. 'Peace' is achieved by using the language of music to produce concerts.'Prosperity' by creating awareness&funding to specific charities dealing with education, health, poverty&culture.

It is committed to education, especially in drama and music, through the encouragement of attendance as well as direct involvement. The Trust seeks to achieve its objectives in three principal ways: Underwriting (particularly for theatre productions); Grants for Arts Projects; and Advice & Support.

WE RUN A COMMUNITY HUB OFFERING A ONE STOP SHOP FOR LOCAL TRANSPORT AND OTHER INFORMATION, SERVICE SIGN POSTING, COMPUTER AND CRAFT COURSES AND A UKONLINE CENTRE. THE HUB ALSO HOSTS THE WEARDALE COMMUNITY TRANSPORT OPERATION. WE HAVE BEEN RUNNING A PROJECT CALLED 'SONG AND DANCE' TO ENCOURAGE MUSIC, MOVEMENT AND SONG.

Reeth Brass Band performs music for the local community and assists in raising funds for other charitable causes by playing at concerts and attending functions in a musical capacity.

London Master Classes is an organisation devoted to promoting public teaching by leading performers working with advanced music students and young professionals before audiences in major London venues.

Ogmore Valley Silver Band operate as a Brass Band, based in Ogmore Vale, Bridgend. The Band rehearses twice weekly on Wednesday and Sunday evenings and operate an open door policy, giving members of the public the opportunity to learn how to read music and how to play a brass instrument. We perform at a number of local events & competitions throughout the year, both paid and unpaid.

Monthly meetings with entertainment & food provided. Entertainment includes music, choirs, dancing. A special anniversary service and lunch is held each year. Membership is restricted to those with disabilities and their carers.
