Our objective is to advance the musical education of young people in the Leeds area, to promote, encourage and support all activities of CLYO, Fundraising provides bursaries and subsidies for tours & residential courses, music & soloist hire, pays for and maintains some of the rarer instruments the young musicians are less likely to own & funds the annual prizes awarded by the Conductor.
