St Albans Bach Choir rehearses and performs a wide variety of choral music. It engages soloists and orchestras of the highest calibre but also has a tradition of engaging young singers, many of whom have since developed international careers.

The Young Women's Music Project (YWMP) is an educational charity that offers twice-monthly free workshops for women aged 14-21, which provide an inclusive and supportive space for young women to make music together, learn new skills, express themselves, and grow in confidence.

To promote the teaching, study, practice and knowledge of music generally and in particular according to the methods of Emile Jaques-Dalcroze commonly known as Dalcroze Eurhythmics.

We run specialist Parkinson's friendly programmes led by our creative dance artists who use images and music to get the body moving.

We seek to make it easier for people to encounter Jesus - by providing practical help for less privileged families and individuals to demonstrate Jesus compassion..- supporting & arranging celebrations & youth events, assisting with publicity, transport and resources.- support for other workers and organisations including musical & audio visual items- using a web presence to reach further

Our community playgroup promotes a wide range of positive images through the choice of various activities such as writing,numeracy,imagination,outdoor play,physical exercise,music, ICT and other activities to motivate preschool children.

The Society promotes public concerts at which the members perform with professional musicians. The Canterbury Choral Society Youth Choir participates in some concerts with the main choir, and participates in other concerts on its own.

Activities for elders and youngsters such as lunch club run weekly, youth under 16 club,elders womens group,cultural activities, Indian dance classes, Music lessons, Yoga classes. Kerala house renovation project, Our story Onam project - funded by HLF.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public by encouraging and fostering the understanding, knowledge, appreciation and development of jazz and associated forms of music and culture.

Gurdwara holds regular service for worship in Sikh tradition. Everyone from any walk of life can attend. A free communal meal is served after service to promote equality and good community relations. Gurdwarra promotes free education. Music, singing and social values are taught to children and adults. Welfare visits are arranged at bereavement and sickness in family.

We also operate other programmes helping emerging artists understand routes into the music industry, work placements and internships. We also work with young people in live sound and events.
