Leith Hill Musical Festival, which is based in Dorking, Surrey, is held in April each year and consists of three days of competitions and concerts for locally-based choirs. Amersham Band encourages participation and enjoyment of music played by a modern brass band, The band serves the local community in Chiltern District and the surrounding area. Founded in 1839, the Society's objects are to promote the advancement and improvement of general education in relation to all aspects of the art of choral music and the development of the public appreciation of such art.
