The activities of the Society follow its objectives to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by other ways as determined by the Society through its Committee.

Provides facilities for sports and recreation, and for lectures, meetings, exhibitions, concerts and educational purposes.

Providing musical entertainment in the form of Musicals and Pantomimes at a reasonable cost for the community in and around the town of Newton Abbot, Devon.Also giving the opportunity for young people between the ages of 7 and 17 to learn acting and singing techniques and to perform as a group, musical shows in a theatre environment for a live audience.

To advance the education of the public in the art of music with special reference to liturgical and organ music, to help organists and choir trainers at all levels of competence to improve their standard of performance and to encourage non-players in the appreciation of the organ and its music.

The Basement Door (TBD) is a charity which advances the education of young people, aged 13 to 22, by providing training and experience through live music events. Young people learn new skills, gain confidence and make connections, through The Basement Door community. The skills they develop whilst working with TBD help them secure employment.

To advance, improve and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art of music and in particular the art of English language song, in particular but not exclusively by holding an annual festival of English song: The Ludlow English Song Weekend (LESW). LESW is held annually in early April and comprises Song Recitals, Panel Discussions,Masterclasses, Workshops, Film and supporting events.

To advance the education of people in the arts for the public benefit, in particular classical music of professional standard, primarily, but not exclusively, through the provision of public orchestral performances, and the education of young musicians, young people and the provision of classical music to those less likely to engage with it.

We have organised Festivals and Workshops to promote music and in particular the harmonica throughout the year. Through our bi-monthly magazine/newsletter we also promote and educate members and readers in harmonica music.

The mission of the orchestra is give the playing member the opportunity to learn and engage with great pieces of music, develop their musical and personal skills as a collective group to perform these works, create performances that will entertain and educate the public, and encourage and inspire young players and performing artists.

We are an amateur group in our community that put on plays, musicals and concerts.

Malmesbury Carnival Committee organises a programme of music, sports cultural and children's events, mostly during August and ending in a traditional carnival procession, to raise funds for local good causes in the Malmesbury area.

The charity aims to: (i) maintain the traditions of brass band music and to develop, promote and improve the art and science of the music in all its respects to people of all ages (ii) advance the education of children and young people in particular to appreciate, learn and participate in brass band music making

To organise an annual, local Festival to educate the public in the arts and different cultures.The Festival includes a variety of music, art exhibitions, dance & drama and childrens activities.Also a Craft Fair and Farmers market are included.

The choir practises and performs choral music and raises money for charities by singing at concerts and other such events mainly in SE Wales.

The object of the charitable trust is for the advancement of education and, in particular, to establish an experimental theatre and/or trust for experimental theatre dedicated to encouraging new generations of creative artists whether dramatists, musicians, painters, sculptors or poets.

TEACHING OF MUSIC, MARCHING, DANCE, COORDINATION AND OTHER RELEVANT ARTS

Our centre is self-financing and managed by volunteers. We provide a pleasant venue for local residents and groups. Activities include art, ladies choir, W.I. and day centre for the elderly (run by volunteers), also yoga and pilates for adults plus karate classes for children. We have fund raising events i.e. craft & plant sales, afternoon teas, music and social events throughout the year.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by:a) providing opportunities for members of the Medway and local communities to enjoy choral music through participation and involvementb) the performance of public concerts and recitals and by such other means as the Society through its Committee shall determine

The trustees actively seek donations and arrange various fund raising events and seminars through musical and other mediums. The charity operates from Stanmore, Middlesex

The Carducci Music Trust supports the work of the Carducci Quartet with schools and young musicians, and the Carducci Festival at Highnam.

Individual instrumental lessons for 105 children & adults, small group classes, school music clubs, weekly curriculum lessons within school, Music School Sunday's, which take place once a month and Youthful Orchestra, an adult orchestra for rusty musicians, which also meets once a month. With all HMS activities bursaries of up to 100% are available.
