PRESENTATION OF LIVE HIGH QUALITY MUSICAL AND VISUAL ARTS EVENTS IN HONITON AND DISTRICT

Encouraging young musicians from the Colchester and surrounding area in Essex to meet on a regular basis to rehearse as a Youth Orchestra and give concerts, some for parents and friends and some public concerts, for the benefit first and foremost of these young people and for the general pleasure of those attending.

An award of £500 and one of £250 may be given on an annual basis to the winner and runner-up of an annual competition for young musicians - instrumentalists or singers. Furthermore, consolation prizes are awarded to the other finalists in the competition - usually of at least £75 each.

Fund raising for, talented and enthusiastic professional individuals, partners and groups that wish to create and be a part of creative projects within the dance, drama or music industries. We are a village run baby and toddler group, catering for 0-4 year olds.We run in term time, every Wednesday morning from 9.30am-11.30am.Our activities include craft table - themed each week, role play, home corner, sing-a-long music time, dressing up, small world, baby area for pre-walkers and soft play area.

Performance of Brass Band music for local organisations, including free performance for charities. Free continuous tuition for new members, available to any member of the public regardless of age and gender

The Trust was established to assist The Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestral Society with concert expenses whilst promoting the art of music. The normal Modus Operandi is for the Orchestra to contact the Trust when it is in need of assistance and for the Trustees then to consider that request sympathetically and make a grant at their discretion.

The Malvern Singers is a choral society, with the aim to foster the love of good music, entertain the public and assist charitable organisations.
