Arts Charities That specialise in Performing art

Mission:To enable social change by providing a point of entry to the media and creative industries for individuals from disadvantaged communities. APE MEDIA delivers training, events and production opportunities in the following sectors of the creative industry; TV & Film Production, Radio Broadcast & Production,Music Construction & Production; as well as fashion and performing arts (Dance).

Working locally with young people to develop physical and social skills primarily through the arts and in particular those involved in theatre. This is done through workshop sessions and productions on the charity's premises and through similar activities in other centres for young people i.e. schools, colleges and youth centres.

The charity provides a venue for community, sport and recreation activities including football, cricket, tennis, bowls, croquet and camping on the recreation grounds and dance, aerobic classes, amateur dramatics and art classes in the hall.

To promote, advance, improve, restore, develop and maintain for the benefit of the public its education in, and appreciation of, music by the late Dimitri Tiomkin by any means as the directors decide to adopt in their full discretion, and to advance such charitable purposes as the directors think fit from time to time.

Pendyrus Male Choir takes part in concerts, both locally and internationally, to promote Welsh choral singing. This includes an annual gala concert, organised with the aim of bringing internationally renowned artistes to a local audience for affordable prices.

To draw into fellowship the people of the Diocese of Lichfield and the wider community in service and devotion to God and loyalty to the cathedral. To assist in funding the work of repairing and preserving the fabric of the cathedral and its precints, its furnishings and vestments and to beautify it with special gifts. To support the worship and music of the cathedral church.

Deep Roots Tall Trees (DRTT) is a Corby-based arts organisation that aims to extend the relevance of music, singing and the arts to the widest possible local and regional audience.

Provision of English as a Second Language classes for adults; running a Bulgarian school for children providing education in Bulgarian Language and History. Running dance classes for adults and children. Organising the celebration of national holidays. Presentations at local schools on Bulgarian culture. Supporting the local Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

Arts and culture. Mainly in East Riding of Yorkshire.

PROMOTING PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART OF KEYBOARD MUSIC. ACQUISITION OF HISTORIC KEYBOARDS, AND EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND PERFORMERS IN PRESERVATION, RESTORATION AND PERFORMANCE OF HISTORIC KEYBOARDS. PROMOTING MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENT OF BUILDINGS OF ARCHITECTURAL OR HISTORIC INTEREST, AND THE CONTENTS THEREOF INCLUDING "THE COLLECTION" REFERRED TO ABOVE.

Operating a Music School at one main centre and several satellite centres with ensembles and orchestras a choir, music and instrumental teaching, concerts and tours.

To promote the art and training of classical music for the public benefit, in particular (but not exclusively) supporting children and families from black and ethnic minorities. To help support families in severe hardship who will benefit from participating in creative musical activities for social interaction and learn how to play musical instruments to improve mental health and wellbeing.

The Church holds weekly services on Sundays at 10:15 am and 6:30 pm. A service will include singing of Christian hymns, prayer, reading from the Bible and a talk where some one will help us to understand what God is saying through the Bible; there are separate classes for children. We also have small groups that meet in homes during the week to study the Bible and pray together.

In the parish of Charmouth and surrounding areas: Give grants to individuals and charitable organisations to relieve poverty or sickness; help young people develop and become self-sufficient; educate people in all aspects of music; collect, preserve and communicate heritage. Internationally: Give grants to charitable organisations supporting the relief of homelessness, poverty or sickness.

General fundraising activities inc Fireworks night, uniform sales, theatre trips, discos etc to raise funds to enhance & support the learning for pupils of Owlsmoor Primary School.

The provision of the opportunity for residents of Egham and District to participate in the learning and performing of choral, musical and orchestral works.

The Royal Victoria Hall Foundation makes grants to professional theatrical companies within the London area, and makes ten Lilian Baylis Awards a year to help students who are selected by their Drama School to complete their training.

Produce one annual show and makes donation for worthy charity.

Inspiration In Motion promotes dance and performance arts, and focuses on promotion of ballet. We have three main activities: commissioning and supporting new worksbroadening the audiences for dancesupporting education and training We do this through award of grants to individuals and organisations.

Musical and operatic society

Co-ordinates and supports activities of Women's Institutes in Bedfordshire. The Women's Institutes undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

The principal activity of the charity in the year was the production of a musical for presentation to the public.

KCM Falmouth holds monthly Family services in the church which are great fun. The Choir holds regular concerts and we welcome visitors all year round from around the world. KCM has a very popular coffee shop which brings the community together. The Church Hall is now more accessible to everyone and is used for a great many groups etc.

Regular worship services open to all (Eucharists, Morning prayer, Evening prayer). Providing sacred space for prayer and contemplation. Community and social activities and events (Summer Fair, Christmas Fair, Gardeners' Question Time, Concerts, Thanksgiving services, Fireworks night). Working with young people, local school assemblies and visits.Pastoral work and promotion of Christianity.
