The Rock Academy is a charitable organisation which provides young people the opportunity to learn, create and perform original music through instrument lessons, music technology courses, band coaching, live events. It also provides music educational support services for schools and community groups.

Activities run for the benefit of the local community. Facilities available to hire for use by community groups, e.g. Pre-school, uniform groups, performing arts groups, WI, Dance groups(children and adult). Rooms available for hire by individuals for parties/charity events etc.

The charity derived income from grants and various fundraising activities. The charity provided the local community with a good sporting facility and held a variety of activities including football, netball, kick boxing, indoor bowls. Conference facilities were also provided and a variety of events were held in the hall including concerts beer festivals, horticultural shows and birthday parties.

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tees Valley & surrounding area provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of those who have need by reason of youth, age, infirmity/disablement, financial hardship, social & economic circumstances or for the public in the interests of social welfare & with the aim of improving the condition of life of said inhabitants.

The Company's objects and principal activities are to advance the education of the public and in particular of Greek Nationals in Great Britain by promoting the study of Greek art, drama, dance, literature, history, customs and traditions.

BURSARIES WHICH SUPPORT STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FOR 'OUT OF THE ORDINARY' OPPORTUNITIES.THIS INCLUDES MUSIC AND GAP YEARS AND VOLUNTARY WORK.-

Book music & lyrics was founded in 2010 to educate and foster craft skills, collaborative skills and development for emerging musical theatre creative practitioners to strengthen their future work and also to strengthen the sector as a whole.

To educate the public in the operatic and dramtic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and tastein the said arts (to assist and further such chartable institutions and charitable purposes, as the committee shall from time to time determine).

To provide a community building to enable groups to have a venue where they can provide activities for the people in the Chaddlewood and PL7 area of benefit.The centre hosts church groups, young people (youth) drop in, dancing classes, a summer and christmas fair, a social club, parent and toddler groups, educational activities (computer Literacy), karate and t'wondo and many more activities..

The Charity provides the public the opportunity to rehearse and play through orchestral repertoire that many amateur players would not otherwise get the opportunity to do so. it provides scholarships and sponsorship for young people to ensure the widest spread of opportunity to benefit the public.

Provision of dance workshops and lessons for children with special needs.

Fund raising to purchase medical equipment for Epsom General Hospital. Sales, raffles, events such as barn dance, car boot sales.

Presentation of musical shows.

Regular Sunday services including children's activities.Midweek group meetings for worship, prayer, activities and fellowship.Outreach in the local communities through music, social meetings, transport provision, children's work and other activities.Support for MissionJoint meetings with other New Frontiers/Catalyst Group and other local churches.

Promoting public education and appreciation of music by performing in and promoting concerts and supporting young singers through a youth choir

Furness Music Centre is an independent organisation based in the Furness area of Cumbria. The aims of the Furness Music Centre are to provide opportunities for the people of the Furness Area, irrespective of age or ability, to play and sing together in various orchestras, choirs and other ensembles

The ACTITIVESThe project will cover the following activities Drama, film making, Traditional dancing, supporting young people in subjects they are weak at by working with children with behaviour problems, Educational day trips, Half term summer holiday activities, jewellery making, Healthy eating workshops, ICT, Sex education and facilitating their transition from Primary to Secondary schools.

We produce sensory theatre and immersive arts experiences for children and young people with complex disabilities. We work in theatres, arts centers, schools, hospitals, and community settings to create events and experiences in which we facilitate participants to co-create and play. We are an artist-led charity that promotes inclusion and empowerment through imagination and participation.

The provision of a local public venue for the arts of plays, music and the performance of productions by our own amateur groups.

The main funding raising activity of the Trust is centered around the annual concert in which all the musicians and singers are based in the property and construction industry in the East Midlands.

The Centre is open 5 days a week- Monday to Friday 10a.m. to 4p.m. Tea, coffee and cakes are served at 10 a.m. A cooked meal and sweet is served at 12 noon. Fund raising is our main activity. Various other activities take place diring the week viz: Bingo, Scrabble, Whist,Art Classes, Singalong & Dance.

The Oxford Harmonic Society is a large amateur choir under professional musical direction which gives public performances of choral works supported by a professional orchestra and soloists. It holds three concerts a year in major Oxford venues and rehearses for two hours weekly in Oxford from early September to late June.
