Choral works

The aim of the Notables is to promote the musical skills and creative and social independence of people with learning disabilities in Coventry. Weekly music workshops led by community musicians assisted by volunteers enables members to acquire skills in singing, instrumental work composition and song writing, and to play together in a band. The band performs at local events and festivals.

The Company is established to promote, maintain, improve, and advance education by the encouragement of the arts, in particular but not exclusively music, and to formulate, prepare and establish schemes therefor, provided that all objects of the Company shall be of a charitable nature.

Holywell Evangelical Church is a Christian assembly based in the town of Holywell in North Wales. It is based in a church building on Halkyn road in Holywell town. At this premises the members of the congregation sing Psalms and Hymns to worship God, engage in prayer and listen to sermons by the church minister and visiting speakers.

The advancement of the education of the public by providing and maintaining a museum of artefacts and specimens relating to the natural sciences, natural history, archaeology, literature, music, the fine art and decorative arts, antiquities and local history relating in particular to the Island of Portland.

Provision of theatre facilities for amateur and professional artists.

Running an annual, two-week festival centred around music and speech and drama. Children (and some adults) enter competitive and non-competitive Classes in the following Sections: Speech and Drama; Piano and Organ; Brass; Harp and Clarsach; Vocal; Choirs; Woodwind (including Recorders); Strings; Classical Guitar; and Group Music, and are adjudicated by professional adjudicators.

WE TAKE PART IN ACTIVITIES AND COMPETITIONS SUCH AS: NETBALL, DRAMA, FOOTBALL, QUIZ TEAMS, STOCK JUDGING AND OTHER SIMILAR EVENTS.OUR OBJECTIVES ARE FUN. LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENT.

St Paul's Sinfonia, an orchestra of some 40 young musicians, gives regular concerts and carries out educational work with schools and the disadvantaged in London Boroughs of Lewisham and Greenwich.
