WE ARE AN AMATEUR CHORAL SOCIETY PERFORMING MUSIC FROM THE CLASSICAL REPERTOIRE, USING PROFESSIONAL SOLOISTS, CONDUCTOR AND ORCHESTRA

Provide information, advice, guidance in immigration, health, housing, benefit advice, education, training and support to young people, families and children mainly from deprived backgrounds living in poverty. We offer a number of educational, cultural and sports activities such as dance, IT, music, drama, ESOL, football, healthy eating cooking classes, sewing, self-defence, domestic violence etc.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.To further such charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit but in particular through the making of grants and donations.

THE COMPANY PROMOTES AND PRESENTS PUBLIC PERFORMANCES OF OPERA, OPERETTA AND MUSICAL THEATRE. IT PARTICULARLY AIMS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SINGERS, DESIGNERS, DIRECTORS AND MUSICIANS TO DEMONSTRATE AND DEVELOP THEIR TALENTS AT AN EARLY STAGE IN THEIR CAREERS, AND ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF KEEN AMATEUR SINGERS.

Catering for elderly & disabled & children's activities. Food bank Feeding elderly twice a week, bringing them to church day centre for Social events i.e. trips to the seaside, theatre trips,ect.We are a Church centre that ministers to the needs of people providing suport and advive. we give to the needy.The Church provides sunday school and youth club. we suport overseas missions work.

HEARTBEAT CHORUS IS A LADIES' A CAPPELLA CHORUS SPECIALISING IN LADIES' BARBERSHOP STYLE SINGING. WE AIM TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF A CAPPELLA SINGING IN ALL ITS ASPECTS. WE SING A WIDE RANGE OF MUSIC, MAINLY UNACCOMPANIED BUT ON OCCASIONS WITH ACCOMPANIMENT.

Recreational activities for members over the age of 50 years; such as Short Mat Bowls, Art/Painting, Dancing, Rambling, Singing for Pleasure, Keep Fit, Tai Chi, Bridge and Whist.

YOUTH CLUBROOM HIRE FOR BODIES E.G. PARKINSONS, KEEP FIT. ART CLASSES, HITCHIN FRIENDSHIP CENTRE, SCOUTS,SLIMMING WORLD, RUSSIAN BALLET, CHILDREN'S DANCE GROUPS, SALSA DANCING, SURE START CENTRE, BINGO, SEWING GROUP, CHURCH GROUP. CHRISTENING, WEDDING AND BIRTHDAY PARTIES.

The Foundation provides scholarships, bursaries, maintenance and overseas travel grants and other financial assistance to beneficiaries up to the age of 25 to facilitate their educational, recreational, social and physical development; to enable the study of music and other arts and deliver special benefits to the School not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.

Promotion of musical education

The Memorial Hall is used by a wide section of the local community.i.e Pre School,Mums & Toddlers,,Cubs & Scouts for the youth. Golden Circle(Ex WI)Flower Group,Horticultural ,Dancing Dog Training.keep fit classes.

Hosting singing opportunities for varied groups,:some community choirs, one auditioned and some groups for People with Parkinson's

Parson Cross Initiative Projects is based in North East Sheffield. We create community and provide support for people living in our local area. We work in partnership with other organisations to provide services and support to people and to promote social justice and inclusion. We provide a range of activities: Community Cooking, Social Cafe, art and music groups and food support.

The principal activity of the charity is that of running and managing Holyborne Theatre and promotes the arts into the community by the staging of dramatic performances and the running of a very successful Youth Theatre with training membership

Raise Your Voice is a music project for vulnerable people living with dementia and their carers, based in the area around Lewes, East Sussex. Each session is run by two professional musicians, (singer and pianist). They are supported by a team of volunteers with a wealth of experience of working with vulnerable adults in social care, as well as in the legal profession.

We offer opportunities for people to experience live music and a nightclub experience. We also produce a festival in a local park, inclusive to all, with no age limitations. This allows families, children, carers and service users to celebrate music and all that the Roadrunner has to offer together.

Traditional choral society, performing several times per year in and around the Croydon area, with occasional additional activities.

The Trustees have expended funds on maintaining the cathedral and funding Ley Clerks to the choir.

Concerts were held during the accounting period in both 2018 and 2019 in the Summer and at Christmas. Summer and Christmas concerts helped raise funds for CLIC Sargent.

Music for the Many provides instrumental tuition and other musical activities and opportunities free of charge to children in Todmorden, W. Yorks.

The main areas of activity this year saw the development of the Inner Vision Music Workshops for Visually Impaired people into 5 areas of London, and the National Tour of the Inner Vision Orchestra These activities have been celebrated in national and regional media including the BBC. The Orchestra and workshops were held under the direction of Baluji Shrivastav OBE, supported by Linda Shanson.

The Community Centre offers activities to all age groups, our activities include Mother and Toddler Groups, Keep Fit, Scouts, Dance Classes, over 60's Group, Religious Meetings and Martial Arts
