Plus Saturday evening dances and carpet bowls social evenings.

UK HARMONY BRIGADE PROVIDES SINGING AND MUSICAL EDUCATION FOCUSED ON A CAPPELLA QUARTET SINGING THROUGH ITS ANNUAL BRIGADE RALLIES.

The Marchesi Centre is a community resource used by many of its member living in the area aged 50plus. Not solely for the over 50s the centre is used by the whole community.Trips and events are organised and enjoyed by many members and their guests,Various activities include, art, exercise, yoga, talks, dancing to name but a few

To provide grants and financial assistance for educational purposes to young people, within the Dunstable area, whose parents are in sympathy with the aims of the Church of England and other Christian churches. It is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Chews House and the Old Library (now The Little Theatre).

We produce two annual productions and an occasional concert either as a group travelling to visit our twin town or a fund raising concert at our usual venue. A charity sub-committee meets to decide donations from our funds that could help local individuals, groups or organisations.

The Hall provides rooms, equipment, bar/kitchen facilities and space for meetings, parties, theatrical performances and educational activities. It is available to local inhabitants, without any form of discrimination, and also to outside individuals and organisations. The committee sponsors regular community activities. BAOS is a charity engaged in production of amateur operatic shows, both musicals and pantomimes. We train young people in dance, singing, acting and other performance skills.

To provide a sound and attractive village hall with the necessary facilities for meetings, lectures, physical fitness and dance classes, communal meals, parties and entertainment, for the safe use of the everyone without distinction in the community with the objective of enhancing the quality of life and spirit of the said community.

Kingston Choral Society was formed in 1949 and has 120-130 singers. Concerts are usually held in Kingston Parish Church. It performs four concerts a year covering a wide range of music from Bach to Gershwin and often performs with professional orchestras and high calibre soloists. There are occasional workshops and regular social and fundraising events are held.

The objects of Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus are to advance the education of the general public in choral music by the regular performance of such music from the widest possible repertoire and such means as the Committee see fit. SPC is based in Sheffield, draws it membership from a wide area and regularly performs at Sheffield City Hall as well as other national and international venues.

Dead Earnest Theatre uses drama and theatre techniques to recognise, challenge and change behaviour. The Company does this by encouraging and inspiring people to imagine new possibilities and to have the confidence to try them out. The Company's focus is in three main areas: Community Cohesion, Health and Well-being and Creative Learning.

We produce and perform shows for the general public to come and watch. The society is open to all members of the community upon completion of an audition to assess suitability for singing, dancing and acting.We are based in St Anne's-on-the-Sea on the Fylde Coast and usually perform at the Lowther Pavilion in Lytham St Annes.

We aim to promote playing of brass and wind instruments to all ages, as playing in a musical group or band is beneficial to all musicians as it helps develop a range of life skills including teamwork, organisation, self confidence and discipline as well as musical skills. We also perform concerts etc to entertain the public.

Provides holiday/residential experiences for young people from families who are experiencing difficulties. We aim to build relationships, deliver educational and recreational programmes for personal and social development. We have parties, provide hampers, visit the pantomime and other theatre visits when possible.

The society serves those interested in the history and technique of British Theatre by arranging public lectures, by publishing books and a thrice-yearly journal ('Theatre Notebook') and by awarding research grants to individuals and institutions. It awards an annual theatre book prize and stages the Poel Event, an annual workshop promoting good stage speech, most recently at the National Theatre.

We provide a Community Centre which comprises a Hall, Kitchen, and Meeting Rooms. A Members Bar is run by a Ltd Company, BH17 Community Club Ltd. The Hall is regularly used for groups such as Fitness Classes, Youth and Adult Dance Lessons, Ladies Badminton, a Youth Drama Group, Slimming World Sessions. Parties and Functions. We run a Community Fridge open to everyone.

The production and presentation of amateur theatre productions, principally pantomime. A donation to a nominated annual charity or beneficial organisation is given from any proceeds from the main annual pantomime production.
