The principal activity of the charity is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and the appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects. A further aim is to share live music with people who might not otherwise experience it; to present music in both expected and unexpected places.

This is an active choir that fosters fellowship between members whilst developing their musical skills. We perform several choral concerts throughout the year, supported by regular rehearsals and occasional workshops. Small groups may be available to perform at private functions in return for a donation to Choir funds.

The objectives of the Henley Symphony Orchestra are to educate the public in the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of concerts and other activities. The orchestra currently gives at least 4 public concerts per academic year and rehearses weekly during term time.

We continue to expand our children/youth work/all-age events. We hold youth sports and training sessions (10-20+), drop-in cafe, Mother/Toddler group, kids club, youth clubs, dance/music sessions/workshops, residentials, in addition to various community events throughout the year. We hope to extend our social action and detached/outreach work with youth.in the community.

CHYPS - Cheshire Youth Pantomime Society perform a pantomime every January at the Woodford Centre in Woodford, East Cheshire, with a cast and live band of about 40 11 to 18 year olds from local high schools.We aim to help young people develop their performing arts skills and life skills such as self confidence and teamwork.

Sing Your Heart out promotes good mental health and wellbeing through singing workshops that enableparticipants to reap the known benefits of group singing in harmony. The sessions are designed so thatpeople who might normally feel unable to join more formal choir settings (often through mental ill health)can participate without discrimination or judgement, and also benefit socially.

The provision of grants to assist the study, practice and improvement of instrumental music (including in particular organ music), and singing (in particular choral singing) especially in connection with the services of the Church of England and of Churches in communion with the Church of England.

The principal object of the Company continues to be to bring dance as performance and as practice to all sections of the community, particularly to those with least access to it; to promote, maintain and advance education and to actively promote the social inclusion of people commonly excluded from full social inclusion by involving people in dance and the encouragement of the art of dance.

The organisation makes grants to St Edmundsbury Cathedral Choir in order to promote the education and training of choir members and to enhance the choir's role as a major component in the worship and life of the cathedral and the diocese. The grants include funds for the provision of robes, sheet music and the defraying of expenses incurred on visits or tours by the choir to any part of the world.
