Founded in 1985, Lake District Music has consistently pursued a clear policy of bringing to Cumbria an annual festival and professional summer school of quality and purpose centred principally, but not exclusively, on chamber music.

Sheffield Music school, which is held every Saturday morning, aims to offer quality music making in a fun, friendly and nurturing environment.
