The Merchant Taylors maintain the 14th century guild hall (making it available for use by the public) and conduct the dayt to day business of the guild.Financial grants are made to needy young people from the York area to assist their advancement in the fields of art, craftsmanship and music.

The advancement of the education of the pupils of the School; and the advancement of education in the arts of the general public by the maintenance of an arts theatre. The trust hires its theatre facilities to community organisations and local businesses for the purposes of putting on theatrical shows, musical performances and talks for the general public.

A MALE VOICE CHOIR INVOLVED PRIMARILY IN LOCAL CONCERTS AND NATIONAL COMPETITIONS. THE CHOIR ALSO TOURS INTERNATIONALLY TO SEVERAL COUNTRIES, INCLUDING GERMANY, FINLAND, HUNGARY AND THE USA.

Since 1971, London Youth Opera (operating under our previous name, W11 Opera) has introduced young people from all backgrounds and abilities to the transformative power of opera. Swansea Little Theatre promotes drama in Swansea and surrounding district. We put on six major plays a year. We bring theatre to distant parts in our outreach programme. We have a regular youth theatre (7 - 18 yr olds). We enable other theatre groups, schools, drama groups to perform in a professional theatre environment. All members are volunteers.

The preparation, study and performance of choral music for the public. To study and prepare existing compositions and to commission new works.
