1st Newquay Scout Group, Cornwall, UK, provides a challenging programme of everyday adventure to the young people of Newquay and the surrounding area.Typical activities include Hiking, Camping, Crafts, Environment, Outdoors, Canoeing, Swimming, Wide games, Climbing, Hiking and much more.

We raise money by holding both social and fundraising events at our school. The money we raise goes towards classroom and playground equipment. The main items purchased this year were technology for the school. Contributions are also made towards shortfalls on school trips, year 6 leavers bible, literacysupport and arts & crafts for school.

Oulton Village Hall exists as an amenity for anybody who wishes to use it. It can be hired for any reasonable purpose and at the moment is used for a variety of regular groups which include, folk dancing, table tennis, water colour painting classes, W I , scouts, parties, weddings and It is run and cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers who all live locally.

We are a Youth Centre open for any young person aged 13 - 25 years in the Adur Area. Activities at present include: Sports i.e. football, table tennis, pool, dodge ball; arts and crafts, dance, music, tv, junior leader training, educational training.

It provides artists with opportunity to exhibit their work annually in a prestigious London gallery (entry open to all); during exhibition members demonstrate their unique techniques to the public who wish to learn how to paint miniatures. The aim of the Trust is to give financial assistance to keen young horticulturists, and those new to horticulture, enabling them to further their knowledge of plants in the wild, or in gardens. This study could take any of the following forms - photography, painting, written observations, seed collecting or help with conservation projects, especially involving garden plants.
