To support and assist the Towner Art Gallery.To encourage and foster the appreciation of the arts in Eastbourne by the organisation of meetings, exhibitions, concerts, lectures and other related activities.To supplement the facilities provided at the Towner Art Gallery by the Borough Council.

Provides education and training to promote appreciation of the visual arts. Through access and use of our own studio, we have a full range of activities including life and portrait sessions as well as workshops and lectures.

Southport Photographic Society aims to advance the education of the public in the theory and practice of photography as an art. To further this aim the Society organises:(i) public exhibitions of photographs, photographic art and apparatus. (ii) public lectures and demonstrations of all aspects of photography. (iii) public outings to places of photograhic interest.

Youth work 4 evenings per week and 1 week youth camp. Volunteer helpers and management, no paid staff. Age groups male & female ages 3-7, 8-10, 11-15 and over 15s games. Sports and Team games, including badminton, football, table tennis, volleyball, pool, darts, and other activities (cooking, arts/crafts) depending on group and age.

The main purpose of the WI organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve & develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national & international, in music, drama & other cultural subjects & in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, h

Active in the community supporting the WI and providing facilities for various community activities including Pre-School, WI meetings, Dance classes, Yoga, Martial Arts, Crafting, Wine Talks, Scout Group and community events.

We hold regular meetings on the third Saturday in the month with the exception of December.Some meetings have a business section followed by a talk or demonstration given by a visiting textile artist. Other meetings are used to practice and share our skills.We also demonstrate our crafts at local events and shows.

The hall is used for various clubs and organisations within the Borough of Saltash to carry out their activities; ie Age Concern, Karate, Barber Shop Choirs,Community players,U3A, Keep Fit, Educational purposes, private use (parties), health and education, Concerts, shows, crafts

Provision of a community centre for the benefit of the residents of Allhallows parish and surrounding area. Providing facilities for hire for running of activities for people of all ages and abilities. The Management committee run a range of activities including Arts and Crafts exhibition, Monthly Bingo and Lunch Club and occasional coffee mornings and Quiz nights, to help raise funds.

The club is held on alternate weeks. It gives members an opportunity to play games and mix with others. The group takes part in a range of activities from bingo to arts & crafts. We have a snooker table, football table and music centre. So sometimes members boogie or just chat and join in the other activities. Drinks & snacks are provided. The raising of artistic taste of the public, whether in relation to music, drama, opera, painting, sculpture or other fine arts; 2. The promotion of education in the fine arts, academic education or Christian religion; 3. The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation.

The institute's primary activity is the encouragement and development of oil painting. Exhibitions of work by members and selected non-members are held annually at the Mall Galleries, London. Significant prizes are on offer. Opportunities for inter-action with members are featured.

The hall provides a location and facilities for a range of activities throughout the year (based on a monthly events programme) including: Community & Administrative meetings, village fete & flower festival, theatre & pantos, sports activities (indoor short mat bowls, badminton, table tennis, football), arts & crafts, music events, variety shows, adult education, coffee mornings etc

We provide a meeting place in Abbots Langley Herts where people with severe learning difficulties can meet up on a Monday evening.The club takes its members out bowling at least 6 times a year and to see a musical show in London once a year, the club meets at Abbots Langley Community Centre where we have many activities going on each week, Table tennis, Snooker, arts& Crafts, Coffee Bar ETC:

The charity holds fundraising events and organised occasional activities to assist the work of Maidstone's museums and create greater access to their collections. The charity operates a Friends scheme and applies for grant funding to enable it to assist in the furtherance of public education by way of supporting, promoting, assisting and improving the Maidstone Museums and Art Gallery.

We organise village events including a Summer party every year. The Hall is let to private organisations including exercise classes, arts & crafts, special interest groups and children's activities. We also hire out to individuals, mainly for parties and weddings.

Silsoe Young Farmers is a youth group run by the members for the members to advance their education in argiculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. Joining in with local village activities to become an active part of the community. Improving mental capacities, self-reliance and individual responsibilities.

Promote & support local art gallery & museum, practically by volunteering help & financially by raising money through organizing excursions & talks held at monthly meetings. We also offer visits to other galleries, study days and holidays.

As a WI we have talks, demonstrations, outings, theatre trips fundraising events such as catering. Our Hall is rented out to different groups in the community for dancing, photography, patchwork, childrens parties, band practise etc.
