We aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation. We provide support for people affected by dementia, other memory problems, and social isolation. We run fortnightly pop-up cafes in Sowerby Bridge and in Halifax at which we offer a varied programme of games, crafts, information, support, cakes and conversation. Our volunteer team run craft sessions, play games, serve refreshments and chat.

The Charity runs and maintains Birdwood House a grade II listed building on Totnes High Street. The building is used for education and leisure activities for the benefit of local people. The gallery on the ground floor has a weekly changing exhibition of work by local artists.

Develop young peoples awareness and skills in agriculture, country life, home crafts and general related topics. Provide and promote the facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities which will assist in their development and individual responsibilities so that they may grow to full maturity as individual and members of the community.

The principal activity of the company is to advance the education of the public in the Arts (and in particular but not exclusively in rural arts, crafts and music) and the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

Courses in stone carving, masonry, sculpture, letter cutting, as well as rural arts and crafts for people of all ages and abilities.

A Day Centre for Latin American older people living in London. The centre provides English classes, Latin American folk dance, guitar lessons, drawings and painting in canvass, computer lessons, handy craft and jewllery, exercise sessions, sewing sesions, transalation of documents and phone translations, housing and benefits advice sessions and trips to places of interests.

Clients from Grove and the surrounding area attend our purpose-built Day Centre in Grove which is open every Tuesday and Thursday (excl. Christmas). We employ several part time staff and also have several volunteers. Home cooked meals are provided each day. Activities include supervised care, entertainment, arts and crafts, stretching or other gentle exercise and mental stimulation games.

Powys CC closed the school in 2015. The principle of promoting education is now discharged by the provision of grants to former pupils or those who reside in the local area (or have resided in the local area at the discretion of the Trustees). The building is now let to the Radnorshire Arts & Crafts Foundation to generate an income, maintain the property and benefit the local community.

WE ARE PRIMARILY A CHARITY MUSEUM AND ARCHIVE DUE TO HOLD A NATIONAL COLLECTION OF THE STUDIO SLIPWARES PRODUCED AT WINCHCOMBE POTTERY BY MICHAEL CARDEW & HIS TEAM. A SELECTION OF THESE WILL BE PUT ON PERIODIC DISPLAYS IN BI-ANNUAL EXHIBITIONS TO ALSO INCLUDE ART & COTSWOLDS CRAFTS OF THE 1920S AND 1930S. IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES WE WILL ALSO HOLD TALKS SERIES EVERY JUNE GIVEN BY LEADING EXPERTS

Assistance in the purchase of artifacts for the gallery,organizing previews of exhibitions, sale of postcards, trips to artists studios and galleries, fund raising from Members subscriptions and donations, assistance with the adopt a picture campaign to facilitate restoration of damaged pictures.

We help our Armed Forces Veterans and their families with their physical and mental health well-being. We do this with our in house trained Counsellors and with the provision of mobility scooters and walking aids.We also hold a variety of activities to keep the mind and body active. Walking club, gardening club, crafting sessions and visiting museums and places of interest etc.

TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE ART OF CINEMA, VISUAL ART AND CINEMATOGRAPHY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN AND AROUND THE NORFOLK AREA BY PROVIDING AND PROMOTING A PROGRAMME OF SCREENINGS OF FILMS BY INTERNATIONAL, NATIONAL & LOCAL FILM-MAKERS AND ASSOCIATED EVENTS TO ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC TO ENGAGE WITH, AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON, THE ART OF CINEMA, VISUAL ART & CINEMATOGRAPHY

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

The Charity established and now maintains a library and art gallery which is open to the public. It promotes the study and education and a knowledge of literature, the arts and music in Lincolnshire by organising art exhibitions, an annual art competition, an annual poetry competition for schools and by giving grants and loans for study, education and knowledge to organisations and individuals.

To provide the girls in our care with opportunities to fulfill the objectives of the Guide Association through a balanced girl lead programme of activities such as outdoors, crafts, learning new skills etc. in our own guide headquarters.

CASA promotes learning for pleasure by providing courses for adults ranging from day schools to 2 hour sessions over four to six weeks. Topics include literature, art, history, music, film, architecture, psychology and a variety of practical hand crafts. All courses take place in Clevedon, North Somerset but are open to anybody who has an interest in attending.

Connexions Community Hub is a registered charity, and has become a focal point in the town, bringing the community together in over 12 activities each week. With rooms available for hire, as well as activities such as a Youth Club, Colouring Club, Arts and Crafts, Karate, Open Days and Coffee Mornings organised by Trustees and Volunteers. The project focuses on the whole community.

Our charity is dedicated to rebuilding lives after brain injury for survivors and families. We cover Darlington, South Durham, Teesside, Hambleton and Richmondshire, delivering services and activities based at The Headway Hub in Darlington. As well as arts and crafts, trips out, ten-pin bowling, discussion groups and advice and information, we run awareness sessions and fundraising activities.

SoundCafe (SCL) aims to inspire those who are homeless or socially isolated as a consequence of their living arrangements, by providing safe creative spaces. SCL offers opportunities for guests to access services that encourage their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, enabling them to sing together as a choir, creative writing, arts, crafts and football health & well-being workshops.

The centre provides an open access drop in service for families and young children and offers a range of activities such as messy play, arts and crafts, outings and visits to local places of interest and a Healthy lunch club. We also offer parenting courses, and invite external agencies such as Health Visitor, Speech and Language Therapist and Road Safety Unit to talk to parents.

The encouragement of agriculture and agricultural employees in their various crafts and to promote good farming, breeding and rearing livestock and horses. This is put into practice by organising annual Farms Competitions, a Ploughing Match and Country Fair, Agricultural Machinery Demonstrations and Long Service Awards and the annual Surrey County Show.
