LETTING BUILDING FOR RELIGIOUS AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Activities of the CIO aim to benefit the residents of Solon New Road and the wider community through advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time activities with the objective of improving the well being of the residents. This will be achieved by establishing a flourishing community centre that the whole community can access.

The Cheveley Community Association administers the Community Room attached to Cheveley School for the benefit of local affiliated groups

The principal activity of the company is to provide or assist in the provision of facilites for recreation or other leisure activities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Hay-on-Wye and surrounding district in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

Chilton Foliat Community Association is set-up to improve the lives of the residents of the rural Wiltshire village of Chilton Foliat and surrounding area. It has built a facility to provide a home for local services such as wraparound childcare, to advance education, and to promote social welfare through recreation and leisure. The charity will also promote other causes benefiting the community.

Our aim is to provide a wide range of activities for the residents on the Friday Hill estate(and surrounding areas) FHCA. FHCA arranges Tea and Coffee mornings, Book Clubs Flower arranging classes, Trips to the seaside and other places of interest, Bike Clubs, Weekly food bank , started as Best Before, now Food Rescue we receive donations from various sources.

Promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Werrington and neighbourhood defined by the Parish Boundary without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance educationand to provide facilities in the interests of social

Buckland and Milber Community Association represents the community of Buckland and Milber in Newton Abbot. The Charity exists to provide events and activities in support of the local community.

The Charity has two remits :1. To raise funds for the Gurkha village of Tang Ting,Kaski district, Pokhara, Nepal and to support the village through education, welfare and exchange programmes2.To organise community activities with the purpose of bringing together the villages of Debden, Debden Green and Wimbish in Essex with Carver Barracks and the expatriate Nepalese community in the locality.

TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE AREAS OF KINMEL BAY AND TOWYN. TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE LIVING IN OR WORKING IN OR RESORTING IN THE SAID AREAS.

A community group formed with the intention to create a multi-use path between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye broadly following the route of the old Brecon to Hay Railway and traffic free where possible. The group are involved in planning, publicising and fund-raising for the route, and liaising with public bodies.

Following sale of village hall facility the main role of the village Hall Association is to ensure that monies held are invested safely, for the building of a new facility if a feasible opportunity to do so arises at any time in the future. Also to provide a temporary venue for special village activities as minuted at 2010 AGM.

The charity supports educational and humanitarian projects overseas and supports educational and community activities within the Sedgefield community. The charity generally supports groups but can also support individuals.

Social and environmental activities within the community

PCA run activties for the senior citizens in the Porstea Area. currently these are the Bowls club, line dancing sessions and Bingo nights. in addition through out the year PCA run outings that are advertsied for users of the community centre and residents of Portsea to go on.
