Spelthorne Breastfeeding Friends is a community group that has been established to contribute to the promotion, protection and continuation of breastfeeding within the Borough of Spelthorne by providing peer support to women and their supporters primarily around the feeding of their babies as well as other practical support, with increased activity in targeted areas to address health inequalities.

In 2007 LCA ran some activities such as discos, hobby club & games clubs for children aged 5-11 years from the local community. Unfortunately the LCA has now stopped running these activities and the organisation needs closing down.

We organized cultural events , for example, free admission African Arts exhibitions, cultural dance display and dishes to showcase our traditions and culture to the wider community and also as part of our contributions towards the Liverpool 08 European Capital of Culture celebrations. We also supported some of our elders by providing them with out traditional dishes in their own homes.

we are a community based charity operating in the United kingdom. Our activities are education based where we arrange to promote Urdu poetry and to highlight its influence on English poetry and vice versa. The services are open for children as well as adults and elderly people. There is an element of entertainment for adults and elderly. Through education and entertainment we highlight culture

The charity owns a 37 acre park in Worcestershire dedicated to use by the residents of Wythall parish and neighbourhood. This Wythall park is managed and maintained by its agents, being volunteers of Wythall Community Association (charity no. 243332)

De Centre aims to provide support services to the wider community, irrespective of ethnicity. Support Services will be provided in the United Kingdom for those who are in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship and social deprivation/disadvantage.

Lions Club of Ivybridge is a Community Organisation that Donates money, Supplies Volunteers and supports the local community. This is undertaken by organising fundraising event and bucket collections & undertaking community service to support where needed.

THE PROVISION OF A YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR USE BY THE CHARITY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, EDUCATION (E.G. PRE-SCHOOL DAY-CARE AND U3A), MUSIC, SPORTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR THE LOCAL POPULATION OF GREAT BOOKHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. BYCA WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER CHARITIES, ORGANISATIONS AND SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SERVICE.

The profile of the association needs to be raised to attract more people to fund raising events. The community lunches continue to be successful. We need more people on the committee and residents are urged to join. The Chairman thanked the Committee for their commitment and their supporting efforts.

East Oxford Community Association has been based at the East Oxford Community Centre, which belongs to Oxford City Council, since its formation in 1976. The Association provides opportunities for education, recreation, leisure and social welfare, prioritising those who are socially disadvantaged in our local community.

Approximately 1 acre of land was presented to St Cross South Elmham Parish in 1854 as a "recreational Allotment".This land has never been used for recreational activities and has almost always been let for agriculture.The rent has been used to support village activities and fixtures and fittings and for the benefit of St Cross residents for educational purposes.
