To provide or assist in the provision of community activities and projects by working with clubs, schools and organisations in the interest of social welfare for recreation or leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The Village Hall is now no longer used for village activities. The village at a public meeting showed no support for further use of the Hall. It is now being considered for sale and any profits will be used for the benefit of the village, probably through the building of a new facility with Chirton School . The structure of the present building makes it unviable for its former use.

Computor classes , training,youth club,karate, drop ins

The Charity manages indoor facilities on behalf of Lewes Town Council for a range of local organisations representing all age groups in the community by means of a hall with a small stage and kitchen, meeting room, sports changing rooms (for outdoor games, principally football for youth teams but also a judo club) and a referee's room.

We give small grants to people mainly in Poland who are in special need usually due to sickness, age or infirmity. We have given donations to churches in Eastern Poland for refurbishment or for their community activities.

Eccleston Old People's Welfare Committee provides human resources and buildings facilities for a wide range of community activities including old people's bingo (Monday and Thursday), Gardening Club, Lectures and Classes, Learning, pre-school group, Bridge Clubs, Weight Watchers, Board Gamers, Farmers' Wives, baby massage/bonding, French for toddlers & hires out the hall on a one-off basis

Providing recreation facilities for local residens

We help local groups (ie netball/football teams) by giving donations. Help our local community by holding Christmas parties for elderly persons alone at Christmas and 100 under privileged children. Take under privileged families for days out to the seaside (something they could not afford to do) as we still have no centre to work from at the moment.

we run a community centre. within the centre we run a playgroup, We also now accomodate a children's centre. We hire rooms out to several groups which include diet and exercse, parent and toddler group, baby clinic,dancing classes, friendship group, widow group, chiropody and so on. We are sympathetic to charitable organisations wanting to use our centre.

The provision and maintenance of public open space and play areas for recreational use, specifically but not exclusively for the residents of Cullompton. To facilitate events on the open space for various clubs and groups.

We are a small community association in a deprived area of Southampton. We work to advance the improve education (e.g. training), leisure opportunities (e.g. local groups/organisations) and enhance the local area. We still support the local community centre through a working relationship with the organisation (City Life) that have resumed responsibility for the centre following Asset Transfer.
