Switch provides educational and recreational activities for children and young people in a range of community settings in the Blackburn with Darwen area. Our activities are largely delivered by trained community based volunteers and generally take place in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays.

The Charity provides meeting accommodation for a whole range of local community activities, including social, educational and keep fit activities. It is particularly interested in providing a place for disabled and hard to reach groups to meet. It also provides for local groups to hire the hall at reasonable rates for their own activities.

The current policy of the fund is to offer assistance to charitable organisations working in the areas of Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation, Fine Arts and Conservation, Religious and Community Activities in Surrey and Human and Animal Disabilities.

MWCA provides groups and activities to the community of Moortown West and surrounding areas. We also do events for all the community enhancing community cohesion. We also help improve our local community environment with support from our local council.

Regular public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching, baptism, communion, evangelism and mission, teaching, encouragement, education, welcome and inclusion of young people, discipleship, giving and pastoral care, charitable work, community activities and social action locally and globally, supporting Baptists and other Christians.

SHANKLIN TOWN BRASS BAND IS A COMMUNITY ORGANISATION OPEN TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES DEDICATED TO TEACHING AND PERFORMING BRASS BAND MUSIC ACROSS THE ISLE OF WIGHT: ENTERTAINING THE PUBLIC AND GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY A BRASS INSTRUMENT AND PARTICIPATE IN PERFORMANCES, COMPETITIONS AND INDIVIDUAL EXAMINATIONS TO GAIN QUALIFICATIONS.

Barnby Dun Community Association hosts a range of activities for all ages including a Tuesday morning Coffee Drop In, and other regular events such as Tai Chi, beavers, yoga, pilates, bujinkan and respite care. The hall can also be hired for private functions.

Brockley Society aims to promote high standards of planning and architecture; to educate the public in the geography, history, culture and architecture of the area; to protect, develop and improve features of historic interest; and to promote good quality, innovative development. As a community group we aim to promote and improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area

The charity continues to support all residents in an outer city estate in a Leicester City Council building. It acts as an umbrella group to support and guide many small groups. Last year the association celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. It has now invested into a training computer suite. Accounts available.In the past year we have lost 2 user groups..

Fulwell Community Association operates Fulwell Community Centre in Chapman Street, Fulwell. We offer a warm and inviting space to hire. Rooms can be booked out to facilitate recreation and leisure interests of social welfare, for the benefit of the community. Available to hire: hall and stage area with overhead projector, wellbeing room and kitchen. Toilets and baby changing. Capacity 90.

Promotes the interests of inhabitants of the North Laine Area of Brighton by working with the local authority, police & other voluntary groups. Residents with a concern can raise it at one of our monthly meetings or in our newsletter, the Runner. At meetings, in the Runner and on our web site, useful information such as local history or forthcoming social events of the association is given.
