Oakley Community Association works in Oakley, Deane, Malshanger and Newfound, providing regular events for local residents, including a Sports Weekend; Fireworks; Litter Picks; Village Show and working with other village organisations. The organisation also acts as an information point through its website and weekly email newsletter.

The provision and maintenance of a community centre for the use of the inhabitants of Newbridge and the neighbourhood thereof without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Compton Dando Parish Hall is situated in the village of Compton Dando on Court Hill Road. The Compton Dando Community Association (CDCA) run quizes and coffee mornings. The Parish Hall is available to hire. Art classes and a table tennis club regularly take place in the Parish Hall.

Ladybarn Community Association is a small independent registered charity, number 700038, that worked across Withington, Fallowfield and Rusholme, deprived areas of Manchester. The main aims of the organisation were: 1) The advancement of education, 2) The relief of hardship, and 3) The provision of social and recreational facilities for the local community.

The Committee is a group of residents who meet to ensure that our Village Hall stays as a meeting place for many community activities.We organise fund raising events and hire out the hall to cover overheads and maintenance.

We provide facilities and promote activities in educational, social and cultural fields. Although located in a small village within the Gateshead metropolitan area, our catchment area for users and visitors extends more widely, which is reflected in the next section.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall for the Parish of Milverton, including lettings management, fund-raising and seeking grant funding for capital expenditure for building improvements. We actively encourage new activities that might appeal to residents, e.g. computer, keep-fit, literature and theatrical events, as well as promoting the village hall as a centre for community activities.

FUND RAISING TO RUN AND MAINTAIN A VILLAGE HALL. THE PROVISION OF EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE VILLAGE HALL

The Charity administers the Community Hall which is open to all.The General Public who are living in Saltdean are eligible as members.The Charity supports the betterment of life through social ,education ,leisure and sport.All demographics are supported from babies through to 100.The beneficiaries are Saltdean and our neighbours.

Provide social meeting place for residents in and around Knowle area i.e. social activities ( coffee mornings, youth group, Various Keep Fit Groups (provision of rooms), dog training, neighbourhood P.A.C.T meetings, social events). Rooms made available for hire.

To provide a meeting place for local activity groups which include: Women's Institute, Y.F.C., Table Tennis Club, Short Mat Bowls and meetings of the Community Council ; it is used by local residents for birthday parties, receptions after funerals and other family functions. We hold an annual Christmas party for local people as well as fund-raising coffee mornings.

The community centre is a place where various activities are held - community activities, social group meetings, cultural activities, concerts, drama, eisteddfod, rehearsals, lectures, coffee mornings, fundraising activities, committee meetings, private functions, religious/ chapel associated meetings, educational/training activities
