The LMCA provides fundraising community events three times per year for the enjoyment of the community and the wider public. All funds raised are put towards developing the local area and facilities within that will be an asset to the community for many years to come.

Local community activities

The charity is run not for profit but so that any organisation or private individuals who wishes to use it can do at minimal cost. The hall caters for a wide range of ages from children's parties to old age bingo sessions. Used primarily by local groups however all are welcome.

A village hall for the use and enjoyment of people living in Therfield and the surrounding villages. Focus for community activities. Regularly used by groups within the village. Focus for a range of events and activities. By its use is an integral part of village life. Available for all.

The Association manages a community centre providing many and varied activities for people of all ages and disabilities in the local community in the promotion of health and fitness, art and crafts, and social events including general charitable purposes.

Outdoor Education includes a wide range of water and land activities. Included are sailing, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, rafting, Dragon boating, Bell boating, team building and leadership challenges, archery, caving, climbing and abseiling, high ropes and low ropes.

Providing a venue for village activities. WE have a skittle alley, kitchen and licenced bar. We organise some village events - fireworks night, quizzes etc

Run community centre where regular groups and one off bookings hire the hall/use the hall.

We are a small community centre, that hire the hall at an affordable price for all, it is currently used to run puppy classes, line dancing, exercise classes and messy play sessions, plus private parties where we are able to supply affordable dj equip, well as our own volunteers who run lunch clubs, youth clubs, bingo sessions and family fun days in order to get the community together.

To collect sums of money for the purpose of providing a playing field and ancillary facilities and a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the village of Mereside in the parish of Ramsey and the neighbourhood for the county of Cambridgeshire without distinction of sex or of political, or religious or other opinions, with the object of improving conditions of life.

We run a village hall, providing space, both inside and out, for a variety of community activities to serve our rural community.

The building is used by the people for learning, meetings, all types of social activities, theatre show/pantomimes, family disco, being a very large building it is now popular for weddings, parties and by impact for their exams. Our aim is to keep prices low to make it accessible for our community.
