Church Village Hall used for Church and Village Community Activities

Running of a commuinty centre building for the local propulation. Providing events and acrtivities for all ages. The use of the building for free educational courses recreational activities and youth organisations. Run by unpaid volunteers for the benefit of the local community

Provide a building for all community activities

We run the Spitler, a community building in the Spital Tongues are of Newcastle. The space is available to hire for events, training, meetings, film shows and parties. We support a range of regular activities such as yoga sessions, fortnightly community bingo, a film club, a reading group and a craft group. All welcome.

The Memorial Hall is the centre of village activities and is used by a variety of groups including an over 50's Activity session,several exercise classes,children's parties. The hall has its own country dancing group as well as dog training and Weight Watchers meetings.

Scorton Village Hall is used by the people of Scorton in Lancashire for community activities such as youth club, toddler group, WI, keep fit, dancing classes, parish council, church groups and by the local school. It is also hired out for parties, fundraising, events and fairs.

Provides a rural community space (Pavilion and recreational) where Children/Young People/The General Public can carry out Sporting & Community activities.

Our Village Hall is used by the neighbourhood to provide a warm, convenient and comfortable place for community activities.

Our activities during 2018 were:Arts n Craft Group; Monday Group; Bowling Group; Tap Dancers; Calmer Youth Group; Colliery Corner Group (parents and children); Halloween Events; Easter Parade; Christmas Party; BBQ Days; Disco for the youth; Face Painting; Dog Show; Coffee mornings; Lunch Club. We were supported in this by a grant from the People's Health Trust
