ACORN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION NEWTON AYCLIFFE is a community based charity which organises events and excursions for the benefit of the residents of Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas. Many of our residents are of low income, unemployed, elderly or infirm. We seek to improve lives by providing experiences which otherwise would be unaffordable for many.

The provision in the interest of the social welfare of facilities forrecreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improvingconditions of life for the inhabitants of Kidwelly and Mynyddygarregand the surrounding areas.To undertake other activities incidental of conducive to the furtheranceof this objective.

Community Service

OUR CHURCH PROVIDES CHRISTIAN WORSHIP SERVICES, AS WELL AS COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, WHICH INCLUDES A YOUTH CLUB.

To provide a Village Hall Facility for Village activities

To provide drama workshops / theatre for the local community for all ages young and old within the borough of London Borough of Waltham Forest, and the surrounding area.To provide Table tennis clubs for both young and those over 60's to the local community and the surrounding areas.To provide a safe environment for special needs children and adults within a day care environment

We provide an area where groups can teach classes for the local community including over 40s & 50s keep fit, karate, and dance as well as holding fund raisers for charities in the form of jumble sales etc...We also provide an office for the local councillors surgeries for the local community to voice their concerns. the local elections are also held here at the community hall.

Improving quality of life for all local residents. Aiming to bring residents together through group activities, social, educational and leisure activities using Culmington Hall venue and facilities.

Community Activities i.e. sport, luncheon, meetings, dramas, parties, wedding receptions, funeral wakes, village school events etc

To work towards improving housing conditions for people of West Indian origin. To encourage good relations between the differenct races. To study and explore the history and cultural customs by the indigenous population and bring the two communites together to form a better understanding. To improve West Indian cultural arts and crafts.

The Ardingly Village Club acts as an umbrella organisation to assist in Community Activities.In particular we have organised the Village Summer Fete, 'Twinned' with the small town of Beuzeville in Normandy, France and now include the Ardingly Tennis Club and Ardingly Cricket Club.We are always looking to expand the reach of the Ardingly Village Club into other areas within the village.

Running of village community centre for village activities and for groups to hire

We manage the day to day running of Newsham Pavilion, a community venue for a wide range of community activities. We also provide community activities and events.

Local Community Association with own building for local group activities

The objects of the Shevington and District Community Association are:1. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Shevington . . .to advance education and provide facilities . . . for recreation and leisure time occupation . . . improving the conditions of life especially for the lonely and isolated in our community

To advance, improve, develop & maintain public education & appreciation of the arts & science of music in all its aspects especially, but not limited to the steelpan, by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of, public concerts & recitals in the United Kingdom or abroad.Provide youth and community activities, as in social engagement, activities & training.

A village hall providing a place for community activities

The charity aims to enhance the development and musical education of all its members; whether children, young adults and adults. The charity offers appropriate musical education for all members, in accordance with the 2010 equalities act. The charity takes part in many community activities, bringing music to public, private and civic events and bringing musical enjoyment to the wider community.

Provision of Village Hall for Community Activities

1) To benefit the inhabitants of the Peniel and Rhydargaeau areas by associating with the local inhabitants, local authority and voluntary organisations to advance education, social welfare, recreation and leisure time occupation in order to improve the lives of the said inhabitants;2) To establish and manage a community centre;3) To promote other charitable purposes as appropriate.

Manage the community Hall and organise events for young and old, dances, parties sports , community activities etc

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Burradon and Camperdown and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and

Manage the Hire of a Community Hall and ensure it's upkeep.
