Lamorna Village Hall is a granite built ex school house. It aims to serve the community by providing a central maintained venue for community activities. There is a wide range of events and activities including yoga, flower clubs, art exhibitions, plays, carol concerts and other events. The Hall is available for hire and is used widely for local family events.

Bossingham Village Hall serves the community of Upper Hardres and Bossingham - providing a venue for local clubs, faith groups, parish council, societies and other community activities. It looks to support and reflect the needs of the locality and act as a focus for community activity.

1) Operate and maintain Stocklinch Village Hall2) Support the upkeep and repair of the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and the grounds of St Mary Magdalen church, Stocklinch3) Raise funds to finance the above by holding events and activities.

Current activities:- Vocational courses provided by Newcastle-Under-Lyme College, community groups; young at hearts, upholstery & craft, painting and yoga. Centre available for private functions, annexe to building offering part-time post office facilities.

VILLAGE HALL USED FOR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Wellington Community Centre was built as a club in 1908 and given to the people of Wellington "to be used to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Wellington"

Alvescot Village Association is a small West Oxon charity which gives grants to formally constituted organisations which provide public benefit to people who live, work or study in Alvescot. Its four charitable purposes undertaken in local facilities include the advancement of health, play and amateur sport, community and school education, culture and arts, and religion and heritage.

The Hall operates as a centre for village activities, providing a meeting place and social arena for village life. It is available for use by the general public for private functions, as a meeting room for Parish Council or other groups.

TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LONG WHATTON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION AND THE RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF LONG WHATTON

We hold various events such as Local History Exhibitions, May Day Celebrations, Open Gardens and a Neat Street Award. We work with residents of all ages and abilities to record the history of Eaton Socon and Eaton Ford, and compile history booklets, add blue plaques and heritage boards in the Eatons. We work to enhance our local facilities, including providing benches and planting bulbs.

We are a voluntary group who run our local community centre building. The building is available for hire for a range of activities from childrens birthday parties to ballroom dancing. Regular users include: Churwell Action Group, Striker Tots - football, Keep Fit, Pilates, Community Choir and Methodist Church.
