Friends of Westgate is a charity set up by parents and guardians of children attending Westgate Primary School in Otley, we raise money to provide sociable activities, conveniences and luxuries at school which can not be met in the planned budget. It also operates to unite parents and guardians who's children attend the school.

Friends of Adlington Library aims to provide equipment for use by the public in the library. It provides entertaining and educational events in the library for the residents of Adlington and all the surrounding area. These events include talks, courses, evening events, and children's events. FoAL also assists the library's staff with organising and advertising their events.

Our PTA puts on a range of events and activities, including summer fetes, school discos, raffles, stop point at community Randonnee and bingo evenings. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school including funding theatre productions, purchase new sports kits, buy Christmas presents, school bottles and reading schemes.

The Charity promotes and supports the National Museum of Bermuda (incorporating the Bermuda Maritime Museum), in particular, the permanent preservation of such maritime artefacts and relics of historical archaeological and technical interest and maintain in perpetuity the museum and the historical buildings and gun emplacements within the historic fortifications of the old Royal Naval Dockyard.

The main activities are fund raising activities held throughout the academic year at the school, for the benefit of all pupils and parents. The funds raised from these events is used to advance the education of the pupils, by providing items, services or facilities that is not provided by any statutory authority. We also hold events to raise money for other good causes such as Macmillan.
