Preservation and maintenance of memorabilia relating to HMS Conway. The Charity has a chapel and museum at Birkenhead Priory which houses many items of historical interest relating to the ship. Occasional services are held in the chapel during the year including an annual Remembrance service in November.

Fund Raising for capital projects for Sidmouth Parish Church

FOBGS was set up in 1989 to raise funds for a new kitchen extension and subsequently a new classroom extension in 2005. In recent years, fund raising activities have been scaled down to providing fun events and activities for the children throughout the year. In 2009 we had the go ahead for a new classroom so fund raising is being stepped up to help fund this.

The Friends of Hillside Primary School provide social events which are fun for pupils and parents. Many activities are organised to provide additional funding for items such as ICT hardware and software, playground equipment and apparatus and garden furniture and equipment.

With the majority of adults with learning disabilities living in the community the charity is no longer just for the provision of transport it also provides: 1) Help in funding holidays 2) Funding for parties3) Arranges & funds days trips4) Purchases items to improve quality of residents lives e.g. electric wheel chairs, TVs etc
