Scouting activities.

Silverdale Community Centre provides a place where all ages of the community come together to take part in a number of activities. Senior Citizens, Pre-school, Bowling, Ladies Section, Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Karate and Dancing School are a few activities on offer.The Community Association work together to managed the building and provide the best possible facilities for the the users.

The charity manages the building and grounds for 1st St Lawrence Scout Group and 6th Ramsgate Girl Guide Company.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

SCOUT ACTIVITIES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGED 6 TO 14 YEARS OLD

Runs a Beaver Scout Colony, Cub Scout Pack and Scout Troop based at Monkseaton

PROVIDE A PROGRAMME OF SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 TO 14, RUN BY QUALIFIED AND TRAINED VOLUNTEER LEADERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION ORGANISATION GUIDELINES.

Scouting for boys and girls aged 6-16

Weekly activities for Beaver group, Cub group and Scout group.

Runs beaver, cubs and scout groups.

Providing scouting in Stebbing and the surrounding area for young people.

Group affiliated to the Scout Association incorporating sections for Scouts, Cubs and Beavers

Our Scout Group undertakes many activities associated with the Scout Movement and is open to all.

Provision of outdoor and educational activities for children aged 6 to 18.

Promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Our members meet twice a week: Wednesday afternoons 1pm - 3pm and Wedmesday evenings 7pm - 9pmOur gallery is open to the public between 11am and 4pm most daysArt Demonstrations are held several times a year - members of the public are welcome to attendTrips are also organised on a regular basis throughout the yearChildrens clubs welcome such art Scouts & Girl Guides

To provide ansd support scouting activities linked to the Ist Guilsfield Scout Group, and to support and maintain the joint Scout and Guiding Jubillee Headquarters.
