The aim of the scout association is to encourage the physical,mental and spiritual development of young people so that they may take a constructive place in society. We provide an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training.

SCOUT GROUP

This is a scout group for scouts, cubs & beavers. All three groups do various activities, which help them to develop as young people, contribute toward badges and help in their local community.

Scout Group with a Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer Section open to both boys and girls. Weekly meetings led by all volunteers. Activities range from camping and hiking to games, fund-raising for other charities, learning life skills, badgework and numerous other fun things.

The Scouting Association's aim is to encourage physical and mental and spiritual development of young people so they may take a constructive place in society.

The Group are based in Mansfield Woodhouse Nottinghamshire. Activities include camping, hiking and other activities connected with the scouting movement.

SCOUTING EXISTS TO ACTIVELY ENGAGE AND SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE IN THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, EMPOWERING THEM TO MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY.

A balanced programme is run on a weekly basis which helps the children to gain badges. Outdoor activities are run which include tracking, camping and various other outdoor pursuits. The children also take part in District run activities, like swimming, five-a-side football, sports days etc.

Town Scout Group - with activities for children aged 6-14. Primary activities include camping, woodcraft, first aid, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports.
