Bridport Lions Club is part of the International Lions ,the largest service organisation in the world.Bridport Lions raise money to help both local organisations such as schools,Youth organisations,those in need,and national charities and disaster appeals.

The Lions Club of Chipping Sodbury will consider many projects that fall within the following five guidelines, these are Vision, the Environment, Hunger, Paediatric Cancer and Diabetes. As well as providing grants to other deserving causes within the local area

The making of donations to local, national and international charities. Supporting other deserving causes (primarily local to Wallasey but also more widely on Merseyside), sponsoring exchange students, sponsoring educational and social activities for young students, senior and other citizens and supporting Rotary Foundation.

To encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and to use this as a means of supporting local and international charitable activities through both fund raising activities and hands-on support.

Organising events and street collections, such as a summer Gala and annual Fireworks display. Provide assistance to local bodies and charities such as Children's Hospice, nursery groups and Senior Citizens meeting groups, schools sports clubs and other worthy causes. Since March 2020 we have operated a temporary foodbank and supported three Women's Refuges in N. Wales with food donations

General support of local Primary Schools, local Youth groups, local education centre, under-privileged families, young carers, international shelter boxes, Uganda leprosy workshop and other charitable causes.

General fundraising by organising activities in the local area and giving grants to local, national and international causes after consideration by members. Also physical assistance is considered if requested.

The Trust Deed, dated 2 December 1993, declares that the Trustees may apply the capital and income to or for the relief of the poor and needy OR to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

Long Stratton Lions provide financial help to deserving causes mainly within the local South Norfolk area. We particularly like to help the village youth organisations and the elderly. Among our projects are providing emergency toiletry packs to the N&N children's ward, an annual outing for the local retirement home, Message in a Bottle to assist Emergency Services and spectacles recycling.

We are based in Newtown, Powys Mid Wales. We arrange fund raising events to support charities/good causes both locally and world-wide

We fund raise to support charitable work in which members can feel a personal involvement. During the year our major gifts have have supported Rotary Foundation, together with 1 International and several local charities
