As part of the International Association of Lions Clubs worldwide we operate within the guidelines so laid out. Specifically we raise funds for the support and help of any person or persons or organisation which reside or operate within the Basingstoke Area who are judged to be in need.

The Rotary club raises finance for distribution to local charitable causes and also subscribes to Rotary International charitable funds.

Donations towards relief schemes following flooding or other disasters.Assistance towards costs for people undertaking overseas charitable work.Donations towards the worldwide eradication of polio .Relief of the poor and needy, or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

We fund raise locally for local needy causes, whether it be for groups or individual people.

Furness Lions Club is one of several Lions Clubs based in Cumbria. We assist in our local community where in the opinion of our members and trustees help and support is required. As members of Lions Clubs International we contribute to their appeals both at home and overseas.

Raises money from the public by collections or fund-raising activities, either for a specific cause or for unspecified charities supported by Rotary. Distributes those funds according to availability and perceived need.

The club holds fund raising activities. The Charity aims to help the young and old plus people with special needs. This is undertaken by giving to other charities, schools and voluntary bodies. It also supports the international charity Rotary Foundation and charities active in disaster relief worldwide

RAISES MONEY FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES

North Wolds Lions Club serve the local community as well as helping people internationally. They are involved in community projects and regular events. The income is donated mainly to village causes and events.

The Rotary Club of Stone & District provides Community Service locally, nationally and internationally either by volunteering or by using funds contributed by members of the Club or by the general public. Such service may include educational grants, or grants to relieve poverty
