Associations Charities That specialise in Service clubs

General fundraising in the Ormskirk area to allow donations to be made to individuals or small charitable groups on receipt of a request for assistance. It is not our normal policy to make donations from this Trust to organisations that have their own fundraising abilities. We do make donations via our parent body Lions Clubs International for National & I/NAT appeals.

We operate both locally and internationally as the need is identified. When oprerating internationally it is almost always in conjunction with a Rotary Club in the receiving country.

The Club organises various fundraising activities in the local community including a sponsored walk and a street collection. Funds are also raised through quizes and concerts supported by members and friends. Donations by members supported by Gift Aid make up the balance.The three major areas of disbursment of funds are Local and UK charities, Rotary Foundation and other International Charities.

Raised money for distribution to charitable causes in the local area, nationally and internationally in alignment with the aims and objectives of Rotary International.

The object of the charity is to apply both capital and income thereof to or for the relief of the poor and needy, or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton St. Georges shall, in a duly constituted meeting, from time to time direct.

Rotary Club. Fundraising through activities locally, including sponsoring runners in the London Marathon. Supporting local, Rotary and International charities through donations.

Fundraising for Rotary supported local, national and international charities through sponsorship of entrants to sporting events.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY ARE TO PROVIDE MOTORISED WHEELCHAIRS, SCOOTERS AND BATTERY CARS WHICH WE MAINTAIN AND INSURE TO LOAN TO LOCAL PEOPLE IN NEED.

Fund raising for indivdual help and organisations help both financial and practical

We arrange outings and seaside holidays for children. We give parties and presents to the elderly at Christmas and also to the residents of a local psychiatric hostel. In India, we fund medical and eye camps and give support to a school for blind children.

Supporting local community projects for eg adults and children with special needs ,the local museum, Borehamwood Dementia Club, an art exhibition by local schools. Presenting awards to primary school children for work in the community or at school.Contributing to Rotary's International projects such as Mary's Meals, Shelterbox, Save a Child's Heart, Life Straws, Falconer Trust - Zambia.

Fund Raising

Boston Lions Club Charity Trust activities are the to provide humanitarian service. The club also raise funds for humanitarian needs.

We operate in Stoke on Trent, we carry out big breakfast function and we have one international evening a year attended by approx 30 people. We support Chenobyl Children with a donation and we organize an anual meal for the children of Chenobyl. We donate to the Douglas MacMillan Hospice. We also donate to a shool in Milawe. We donate Books and dictionaries to a school in stoke on Trent.

The Rotary Club of Stevenage raises and provides charitable funding or services within Stevenage, the County of Hertfordshire, nationally within the UK, and internationally in response to areas of natural disasters e.g flood, earthquake, hurricane, fire, etc., and also to fund/match-fund educational, environmental and humanitarian issues worldwide - also supporting our four Twin Towns.

Kington Lions raises funds from local benefactors and distributes those funds by way of grants to local needy and good causes.

To apply the capital and income in the relief of the poor and needy, or for, or to such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object, support of Rotary Foundation and Rotary Polio Plus Campaign to eradicate polio worldwide.

Under the terms of the Clubs' Constitution, Trustees apply funds at their discretion, making grants where they believe their contribution will make a real difference. We can only make grants in furtherance of our charitable objects which include promotion of volunteering for the public benefit, supporting youth to develop their skills, capacities and capabilities and also serving the community.

General charitable purposes in the Whitley Bay & North Tyneside area including- relief of the poor & needy- grants & donations to young people for vocational studies and and advancement of the arts- any other charitable purposes deemed appropriate by the Trustees

Income is derived from, primarily, an annual Charity dinner as well as an Easter Egg raffle and also 'Santa' at Christmas. Funds are utilised in the provision of grants to deserving causes within the Carmarthen area, district, and Lions Multiple District Area. There is an acknowledgement of the Club's international obligations with a contribution to LCIF the Lions Clubs International Foundation.
