Raising funds for varoius charity projects

The trust considers applications from individuals of all ages, and groups, for financial assistance in obtaining equipment/services, particularly those not provided by statutory bodies. When considering a large project, preference is given to contributing towards a specific item. Projects of an educational nature are also considered for support.

Funds are raised via activities organized by the members of the rotary club. Monies are primarily distributed to organizations/campaigns selected by the current club president and to a lesser extent through requests received from our district governor. Smaller donations are made to individuals/organizations engaged in charitable activities.

Rotarians seek to maintain high ethical standards and to support local community projects by donations or by volunteering our services. Rotary supports environmental initiatives at home and around the world with scholarships (Rotary Foundation). Yatton & District Rotary Club supports Polio Plus, Malaria campaigns, local and worldwide disaster appeals. Rotarians share skills & knowledge knowledge.

Nantwich Lions Club promotes volunteering and fundraising in Nantwich and South Cheshire.We raise funds for local good causes, and encourage participation in community activities.

The club is run by member volunteers. We help children, young people, the elderly, people with disabilities, other charities and voluntary bodies. We make grants to individuals, organisations, and provide volunteers to assist with community project and general fundraising.

For the relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purposes as the Club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The charity not only raises funds to give to local and international charities, but also provides help and resources for local vocational and charity activities.

A branch of Rotary International - Bacup rotary club established a charitable trust, which allows members to give service to the community.

We generate funds from fund raising activities and then distribute these funds to both local and national charities.The Padstow Charitable Trust distributed -?3275 to charities in the year end 30th June 2010. The main donations were made to local hospices and Shelterbox which were in total -?2550

Organising fund raising events and apply the trust fund for the benefits of any organisation established for charitable purposes.

We fund raise locally to help local and not so local causes eg Ukraine.

Providing help and support to worthy causes in our locality, nationally and internationally, and some Rotary programmes.

It provides help and support to children and young people up to the age of 23 years for those living or working in Hounslow and neighobouring boroughs for education training and sport by making grants to individuals and organisations, paying fees and sponsoring events so as to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Annual activities include the mounting of a Senior Citizens Party, a free Fireworks Display, a Youth Orchestra Concert, an outing for Special Needs Children, a fund-raising Classic Car Rally, relief for International disasters and other small donations to deserving causes.
