MTFG supports people who find it hard to meet & socialise with others due to a lack of confidence that has been brought on by various life issues such as loneliness & loss of a love one.Our aim is to encourage people to join our club get involved in social activities. Day trips are low cost giving members a sense of togetherness contributing to boosting confidence, cutting out social inclusion.

The Trust has been delivering its normal activities of providing hot meals for its members with Health & Keep fit activities plus social garthering with outings.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Holistic Massage services,Nutritional advice, 1-1 support, training and information, Hospital and home services, personal development and the provision of support for carers.We run a social activity centre with drop in facilities. We provide outreach support in the form of light house work and DIY etc...Help with form filling and benefits.We also provide opportunities for volunteering

Social activities for children and parents

PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED PERSONS TO WORSHIP AND TO MEET WITH OTHERS FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND FELLOWSHIP.

Provision of local services and facilities such as Bowls Club, Youth Club,Social groups, foot care specialist, hair dresser to the villagers of Moulton Seas End and surrounding villages.

Cultural and Social activities for the elderly

AS A SCHOOL PTA WE RAISE FUNDS BY HAVING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN SCHOOL, SUCH AS BINGO, QUIZZES, AND A SUMMER AND CHRISMAS FAIR. ALL THE MONEY RAISED IS USED TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN, AND ADULTS, INVOLVED WITH OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL.

The Community Centre provides varied activities for the benefit of the community which we serve. These include - stroke club - computer club - children's disco - warm zone drop-ins - band rehearsals- church groups- - day carers group - disabled group - keep fit classes - social activities - rugby training and a meeting venue, activity groups and a gardening/social group.

Providing transport for the elderly and disabled in North Herts as required and providing a regular social club.

Sport, Leisure and Social activities for all ages in our parish, including sports sessions for local Primary School, Pre-school, Adult and Youth football teams; Pigeon Racing Club activities, Informal use: younger children's play area, MUGA, junior football net, fitness trail, dog walking, picnics and other informal activitiesOccasional events, e.g. Annual Village Day, Annual Cake Race Day

Hersham Women's Institute is a flourishing members organisation with 63 members providing educational and social activities for all women in our community.

We provide a Village Hall for hire and for the promotion of various entertainments, functions, meetings and social activities for the use and enjoyment of the local community.

We organise social activities and fund-raising events for both adults and children at the school. We raise funds to provide extra equipment and resources to enrich and improve the facilities available to the children of St Mary's School, 'extras' that would not normally be possible within the school budget.
