The Stow Roses' Women's Institute provides a monthly educational meeting for its members. We also provide sub groups for our members, such as a film club, walking group, art appreciation group and supper club. We raise money for charities local to our Women's Institute, observing charity law (ie. local charities that our members may need to access at some stage).

Main purpose is to encourage friendship, develop interests in both local and national affairs, and to widen experiences in cultural and educational subjects.

Hire and upkeep of the Social Centre, used by various organisations, ie Womens Institute, Bowling Club, Band practice and craft classes.

Basingstoke WI activities are as follows: Monthly meetings with a speaker or activity and time to socialize. Organised work shops and outings and regular members' groups, trips, walks and demonstrations in connection with craft, education, training, sport and culture and attendance at County and National WI events.
