W I meetings and refreshments for groups.Childrens parties. Entertainments. Domino Drives. Holistic therapies.Use of Hall for school field trips, art classes and Chapel events. Natural England hire the Hall for meetings, first aid and other training. North Pennine A O N B also use the hall for various meetings. Forest Primary School use the facilities for sports activities.

we hold monthly meetings where we have a speaker of varying interests, we have several outings through the year to places of interest, we encourage learning activities

UNDERTAKE ACTIVITIES TO ENABLE WOMEN INTERESTED IN ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH RURAL LIFE, TO IMPROVE THEIR EDUCATION IN CITIZENSHIP, PUBLIC QUESTIONS, MUSIC, CULTURE, HANDICRAFTS, HOME ECONOMICS, HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELFARE AND TO IMPROVE RURAL LIFE.

We have lectures, demonstrations & craft classes. Educational outings. Theatre visits. Also raise funds for charities associated with WI.

Provide education, interests and entertainment for women in the local community, in an informal, sociable setting. We link with members around the country.Meetings are held once a month and speakers are arranged to cover a variety of interests, both informative and entertaining.
