Providing Pre-School education for children form 2 1/2 to 5 years old in the Ashtead area

We support children, young people and their families in the counties of Bedfordshire and Luton who are at risk of or experienced exploitation, abuse and are socially excluded.We work closely with appropriate organisations to advocate for children and young people exploited and socially excluded, and to share knowledge and good practice.

Provision of child care services

We work with street children (or former street children) in order to improve their quality of life. We will engage in campaigns throughout the UK, South Africa and Mozambique to change the rights of street children and the way in which society perceives street children. This will be achieved through advocacy, marketing and consultation work with other NGOs/ governmental organisations.

The Charity's activities are to alleviate hardship and distress caused by the break up of marriage and family and to preserve and protect the health both mental and physical of adults and children involved therein.

Home-Start Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre offers informal and friendly support to families with young children, providing a lifeline to parents and children in the area of Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre. Support is provided by fully trained volunteers in the home or at group and is free, confidential and non-judgemental. The quality of this is maintained by working to national standards via Home-Start UK.

The charity supports education and disability projects in Kenya, Uganda and Lesotho. We support individuals and their communities in those countries through education that embraces their differing abilities, by providing scholarships, school meals, support to partner schools' infrastructure, and projects to remove the barriers to education facing children with disabilities.

WE PROVIDE AWARENESS RAISING SESSIONS, SIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING, INLUSIVE PLAY PROVISION, AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS, YOUTH CLUBS, RESIDENTIAL BREAKS AND YOUTH EXCHANGES. WE PROVIDE FITNESS AND WELLBEING CLASSES, PERSONAL TRAINERS AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE.
