THE CHARITY HELPS CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY TO ACCESS QUALITY EDUCATION.

Chernobyl Children (East Midlands) raises funds to support projects assisting children and families affected by the 1985 Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

Working within poorer communities in Uganda through the use of child sponsorship scheme, goat project, construction of community centre and supporting and teaching local churches and schools both in Uganda and UK

The organisation is a grassroots Sports association supporting local communities to participate in sports activities. Our work has a direct benefit to the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of children, young people and their parents. We provide opportunities to participate in sports and train young people to become coaches.

The activities of the charity include track and field athletics, cross country running, road running and triathlon. The club organises and provides coaching, training and competitive teams (where appropriate) for these activities. These activities are provided to all age groups from children to veterans. The club is also committed to improving the facilities for athletics in the Southampton area.

Provision of community owned sports facility to:- promote participation in healthy activity- advancement of:- - indoor/outdoor amateur sport - physical education of children and young people - facilities in the interests of social welfare for all who have need by reason of youth,age, infirmity, metal or physical disability, financial hardship or social circumstances

Providing funds for employment of staff at Moulton Parish Church - Associate Vicar (part time), Youth and Children's Minister, Assistant Youth and Children's Minister and Assistant Youth Worker at St Peter's and Paul's Church, Moulton.

Provide general advice, guidance and informtion on welfare, educatin, training, voluntary and employmentReferral, sign-posting and interpretation services for refugees from African French speaking community.Organise social, health and educational eventsRun weekend musical skills programmes for disavantaged children and young people of all ethnic backgroundsorganise recreational activities.

The charity pursues objectives in education & promotion of health in individuals with type 1 diabetes by hosting an annual conference for those affected by the condition: 'Friends for Life'. Provides talks from clinicians, researchers & inspirational speakers and opportunities for peer support. Several businesses sponsor the event and provide exhibits. The UK conferences started in 2017.

Runs a pre-school for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old.

The Soundroom is a community music charity which offers music and arts activities for a range of participants, including adults with learning disabilities, children, young and older people. The Soundroom also provides affordable rehearsal and recording facilities. The charity works for the public benefit and aims to advance education in music and the arts in Gateshead and surrounding areas.

The Charity funds the activities of the Rainbow Centre in Sri Lanka. The Rainbow Centre provides daily care, education, healthcare and food to up to 160 children from deprived families.

Cylch Meithrin Nant Lleucu provides sessional day care for children aged 2.5 - 4 and wrap around to the local welsh primary Ysgol y Berllan Deg afternoon meithrin class.

We offer childcare for parents, grandparents and carers across Wrexham we are based in Wrexham District Scout Headquarters, Station Approach, Wrexham LL11 2AA. We offer Early Entitlement, elements of the 30 hours free childcare and play opportunities to enhance the learning of children in a safe, welcoming, warm, friendly environment. We operate Mon - Thur 09.00 - 15.00 term time only

The furtherance of the Christian religion throughout the Hurstwood area & the provision of general assistance where required. Activities undertaken include: youth club, kids club, leisure classes, mums and tots group, conferences, tea room, senior citizens meals.

The focus of our activities remains the enhancement of facilities for the St Mary's children though fundraising activities.We hold a mixture of events for children and parents throughout the year. These are a combination of social and fund raising activities. We aim to provide additional facilities that are not included within the school budget

Social and leisure activities are provided in a safe, child friendly environment. Providing alongside the school, wrap around childcare for both working and non working families

Church of Christ (Commercial Road), holds regular worship and teaching services, prayer meetings, events, public celebration of religious festivals, produces/distributes literature to enlighten others about the Christian faith. We also carry out other charitable purposes: feeding the poor, working with children/young people, visiting the sick and elderly, supporting the homeless and those in need.

Art & Soul supports the mental health & wellbeing of the public through the Arts. We hold weekly classes, outreach workshops and exhibitions for adults, children and families.
