Our mission is to encourage community engagement and wellbeing through recreation, with a dedicated focus on disadvantaged children, teenagers and young adults, by providing opportunities for sport-related experiences and access to sporting facilities.

Scouting activities for children and young people, Both male and female, in Hamworthy/Turlin Moor areas of Poole, Dorset.The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Our main gatherings are the Sunday services and Wednesday evening prayer/bible-study meetings. We provide a weekly toddler group for pre-school children, weekly youth club for older children, and children?s clubs in some school holidays. We regularly offer courses such as Christianity Explored or Discipleship Explored that clearly explain the foundations of Christian belief and practice.

Mental health and maternal & child health projects for two populations: Internally displaced people (IDPs) and those impacted by conflict and trauma, and medically underserved communities across Nigeria. We train child arts therapy & adult MHPSS trauma counsellors (e.g. SGBV), run IDP clinics for pregnant women and babies, train primary health workers to reduce mother and baby deaths in childbirth

Play for Change is an International Sport for Development Charity with the goal to enhance life opportunities for under privileged children and to make a positive change in their communities around the world by using the powerful values of sport. The charity is dedicated to deliver high quality sports and educational programmes with local communities to create meaningful impacts.

FOMOE assists orphans in Malawi ? especially MOET primary school near Mangochi and finds sponsors for secondary school children. Class sizes are 30 or less and a meal is provided daily. Emphasis is on self reliance with computer studies, cooking, carpentry, tinsmith, tailoring and organic and medicinal gardening. MOET works with local communities on sustainable gardening and tree planting.

Blue Skye Thinking supports research into the treatment of childhood brain tumours, striving to give all children diagnosed, a better chance of survival and improved quality of life during and post treatment. Researchers are trying to establish new, innovative ways to treat children's brain tumours. Run by volunteers, money donated goes directly to the forefront of research and wellbeing projects.

To provide transport facilities in the Furness peninsula and South Lakes areas for people who have special needs of such facilities because they are elderly, poor or disabled, people with young children, or living (or staying) in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities.
