Relief is provided principally, through emotional and financial support and educational and morale boosting activities. Beneficiaries may be those suffering from cancer, their families and carers.

BCS's work as a charity mainly concentrates in Birmingham,we intend to improve the life chances and the aspirations of the disadvantaged children through supporting their families into employment.People from South Asia and the Africa are concentrated in these areas and research has shown that the level of academic achievement is very poor.Our goal is to improve their overall quaility of life.

CHAMP1 UK is a charity dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research into CHAMP1 disorders, The CHAMP1 gene encodes a protein with an important role in brain & cell development, DNA repair and other vital functions. We operate across the UK, connecting families affected by CHAMP1 disorders and funding vital research to find effective treatments and a cure.

The advancement of education for the public benefit. We organise fundraising events and activities (summer fete, discos, family bingo and quiz nights) to raise money for the benefit of the children at Lingwood Primary Academy.

The purpose is to provide support for young tennis players( from 13 years to maximum 21 years) from families who do not have the financial ability to continue their development in the sport. This often occurs as they improve to a level where travel and accommodation is required to play in higher level tournaments that are spread over a wider geography.

We promote awareness of drugs, alcohol and tobacco to children and young families. We do this in an innovative way by providing roadshows in the community and special events in schools we call "Niteclub Xperience". These events use music and lighting to create dynamic and exciting events where we present the information in audio and video format on large video walls.

The Friends Of Downsview raise money for equipment, to subsidise theatre visits and other trips, as well as run social events for the children, families, local residents and other stake holders. Amongst these events are The Annual Christmas shop, Christmas parties and a Summer Fete.

We try to make things better for children, single-parent families, low-income families, and families facing financial crises, we focus on young families and new parents in need of baby items.We do this by providing support packages to give relief for basic needs of nutrition, hygiene, self-care and clothing. We help families to fulfil their needs and help them find services within the community.
