The object of the charity is to relieve and support the families and carers of adults suffering enduring or recurring mental illness throughout Nottinghamshire. The activities of the Committee include raising awareness of carer issues with health and social care staff and providing support to carers through our newsletter and social events with information about mental health and related issues.

The Vessels Action Network is a relief and human development organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to tackle poverty and injustice. Activities are: in kind and cash donations for the disadvantaged people and educational institution in the UK and in Bangladesh. To advance the education of the pupils of Whiteheath Infants school by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational & other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Education Authority. Eg Football club, Family Learning, Travelling book fair.

The Friends of Brading Roman Villa is the volunteer support group working in partnership with the Oglander Roman Trust, Reg No 1044506, which owns the Villa site. Our volunteers provide guides whose knowledge contributes to the visitor experience at the Villa. They also help deliver the Villa programme of educational and social events for families and children.
