Developing a rare disease nurse network to help support families, carers and professionals working with people affected by rare diseases.

The UK Lysosomal Storage Disorder Collaborative (LSD Collaborative) was established to advance health, relieve sickness and enhance the wellbeing of those affected by LSDs and other rare disorders, plus their families and carers, to advance education and to stimulate the interest in all matters concerning these diseases, anywhere in the UK and/or overseas.

The Charity operates by making grants for exclusively charitable purposes.

The relief and assistance of widowers, widows, and their families in need arising from bereavement primarily through: Providing counselling and support. Practical workshops and employability skills training. Signposting to other organisations when appropriate and required. Recreational/leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare designed to improve the conditions of life.

Charity operates throughout Great Britain. We provide advice to Slovak and Czechs as they arrive to the UK. We help them to adapt to their new situation. Through the series of workshops and lectures, we explain the differences in family life and child care in Great Britain and in Europe. In occasional cases, we also help the victims of domestic violence to deal with the situation.
